Super Hotel Akihabara-Suehirocho

Lovely hotel located in Akihabara; walking distance from gaming and anime stores, Yodobashi Camera and Bic Camera. Also walking distance to public transit. You really couldn’t ask for more from the hotel: great staff, variety for breakfast, Japanese toilet, slippers, toothbrush, pajamas, Japanese buckwheat pillow (first time using and ended up buying one because of this hotel), and an onsen (bath house) inside the hotel ! Great onsen, small but great carbon bath. We got a room with a bunk bed which my 5 year old enjoyed. We plan to stay again. Great value for what’s included.. was the favorite hotel out of 5 (better than most expensive one) we stayed at in Japan Nothing

The staff was super helpful and nice. The hotel room was one of the cleanest we have ever seen. It was rather small, but we found it charming and comfortable. The breakfast was varied and tasty. The hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood with artisanal shops around the corner and a train station nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location between the vibes of Ueno and Akihabara. Comfortable room with the bunk bed. Felt a bit roomier for two. Everything was clean, well designed, staff was lovely. Very much enjoyed the Japanese style breakfast variety coming from American continental. And extra free amenities like evening drinks, pjs, etc were fun and appreciated. Would easily stay again N/a

Excellent location! Only a few minutes' walk to the heart of Akihabara, but tucked away in a surprisingly quiet area. Tons of convenience stores, restaurants, and cafes nearby. The room was small (pretty normal for Tokyo) but the layout was efficient. Really quiet, too - I think we heard our neighbors maybe once for our entire 5-night stay, and the only sound we'd hear from outside was the train passing by now and then (but it's distant enough to not be disruptive at all). The included breakfast was way better than expected! Lots of variety and good quality. The "pillow bar" is a cool idea and I liked that you could grab pajamas and various toiletries in the lobby as well. The pajamas were really comfy! Amazing staff - everyone we interacted with was so nice and it seems that everyone there has a good level of English proficiency (so paired with our minimal Japanese capabilities we were able to communicate effectively). They were able to accept our luggage that we sent ahead from the airport and also helped us send it to our next hotel at the end of our stay. There was an on-site onsen but we weren't able to use it. The bed was very stiff. After long days of constant walking and standing, falling asleep wasn't usually too hard, but I am a side sleeper and definitely felt it in my joints upon waking up. Also, I was able to find a pillow that worked for me but my husband (who has back/neck issues) had to try a combination of a few different ones to get comfortable. There is only one elevator, so sometimes the wait was a little bit long. I wish the men's and women's hours for the onsen would switch each day - it seems that the few windows that it was open for women were during the day while we were out or meal times so I wasn't able to use it.

Everything was excellent—from the clean and comfortable room to the very convenient location, which made getting around the city easy. The breakfast was satisfying and well-prepared, a great way to start each day. The staff were consistently friendly, courteous, and helpful, making us feel genuinely welcome. Most importantly, my family and I felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay, which made our experience even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend Super Hotel Akihabara to other travelers. None.

Great location, close to train station and JR. You can walk to Uneo Station to take the skyliner to Narita airport. Average room size in Tokyo. The room needs code to access which you don't need to worry about the key card. Real size of double bed( rare to see in budget hotel in JP) and unique pillow. Ok breakfast with bonus for free alcohol at night.

Location is just outside the hustle and bustle of Akihabara so it's fairly quiet, but still within walking distance. Free breakfast was a surprise, and the menu changed every day. Hotel was able to receive my luggage shipped from a prior hotel. Staff seemed to speak pretty fluent English. Location is quiet at night, and while you can technically hear (or feel?) other room doors opening, didn't really feel disruptive to me. The hotel provides an additional pillow option in the lobby. This is not optional, because the pillow provided in the room was absolutely the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept on. The default pillow in the room is made from beads with what feels like pre-determined indentations for the head. Room and bathroom very tight, but clean. I was unable to open up my suitcase all the way, so I had to get creative.

Hotel offers free soft drink from 15:00 and alcohol in evening. For breakfast, guest can choose to eat in restaurant area or take away. Hotel area is quiet. It is in walking distance (about 15 mins) to reach Ueno Ameyoko Shopping Street. Breakfast selections are not many. Location has some distance from metro station.

Great location, great service. Decent rooms with a view. Tattoo friendly Onsen. Bed came with a single long pillow for couple to share. Alternative pillows were available in the reception area, but by 8pm these were all used up with no options. This is bizarre.. give people a pillow each to sleep on!?

Clean, accessible, good location, quiet. Good breakfast with different options every day. Very small room, even smaller bathroom. Barely enough room for our 2 carry on backpacks, we couldn't pass each other in the room. The bed was up against the corner, so you have to go over the other person to exit the bed.

Good location, was spacious and clean. Also they have storage on the first floor for your luggage, there's an underground walkway to the nearest station The location was far from attractions, it's really quite during the evenings.
