Temple Hotel Shoden-ji

1. Good location and access to Hamamacho-ku station. 2. Private and away from busy streets 3. Close to a temple and some food places 1. Slow to reply to querries and complaints. ( Calls or Messages ) 2. Too late for check-in time (4:00 pm) and too early for checkout 11:00am 3. A little inconsiderate even for an early check in because i have kids and an injured wife.

The apartment had everything we needed. The beds were super comfy. It was convenient. There weren’t comfortable chairs, just stools to sit on and for people who aren’t used to sitting on the floor, it would’ve been nice to have a comfortable chair. Also, there was no interaction at all with any people there. When we needed help, they were not helpful. The washing machine had water in it and we couldn’t figure out how to get the washer dryer combination to run. We sent a message and it took them a day and a half to reply and all they said was send us a video showing the problem which I didn’t know how to do. My husband ended up taking it apart and we figured it out, but they were not helpful at all when we had a problem.

It was a very nice ground floor apartment by a small temple. The was some train noise but it was tolerable.

It was clean and tidy, the room was big and spacious Sometimes the lock on the outer door wasn’t working or we didn’t understand how to lock

Convenient location to Haneda Airport Too close to the railway tracks and rather expensive for whst is offered.

Beautiful room to stay in and close to downtown area. Not many food places nearby. Instructions book needs to be updated with correct washing machine instructions

We loved the cleanliness and the large bathroom. It was spacious. The pillows; however, were uncomfortable so we did not sleep very well during our stay. All of the pillows were also quite old and were very stained (yellow in colour). The constant trains passing by were noisy at first but we got accustomed to the sound.

The apartment had washing machine, some kitchen appliances and was spacious. The beds were comfortable. We did like the meditation session organised for us (not where we stayed, but a taxi ride away) We didn't really like the location (right next to the railway so quite noisy), but this can't really be changed. Felt it was more like an AirBNB as we didn't see anyone during our stay. We were in the downstairs accommodation so the windows were frosted with bars.

Loved the fact that it was a home from home. Very well situated for public transport and getting around Tokyo with a number of good restaurants and shops nearby. A little noisy with the trains close by when they are in their scheduled hours. Windows in the kitchen area should have blinds as well as the light comes in early hours.

although the hotel is very close to the railway, the tight window prevent most of the noisy, only could notice that during late night. a little bit cold to walk from train station back and forth to the hotel during our stay.
