Large room locatedd at the 92nd floor, overviewing the parlament and the Imperial Gardens. Metro station in the hotel basement. Extra fees for the sento.

The rooms are great. The cleaning staff is very courteous and does a very good job keeping the room clean and organized. The concierge staff was great to work with both before our visit lining up a tour guide and driver, and during our visit in helping with restaurant reservations. The only thing that was disappointing was the Chinese restaurant - the service timing and food were not up to the standard or the other 2 restaurants which were very good. The bar service was excellent.

The location is excellent. The metro station is right below the building and it is very easy to reach the most popular tourist areas. Ginza is only 2 stops away and Shibuya is about 10 minutes away. Everything is close and convenient. The area is peaceful and beautiful. Every time I went outside, I enjoyed the atmosphere around the hotel. The breakfast was excellent, with many different dishes. The choice was very good and the breakfast was filling and enjoyable. The staff were very polite and friendly. They always greeted guests warmly. It was always pleasant to go downstairs, walk through the lobby and pass the reception. The people working there are wonderful. I was always happy to see them and say hello. The only serious point I would ask the hotel owners to reconsider is the minibar policy. At checkout, I was asked whether I had used the minibar. I understand that this may be a standard hotel procedure, but in a hotel of this level, this question felt very inappropriate and disappointing. When a guest is paying around 700 dollars or more per night, the cost of a few simple drinks in the minibar is very small compared with the room rate. These are not rare or luxury drinks. They are basic minibar items. For many guests staying at this level of hotel, the value of these drinks is not important. What is important is the feeling of trust, comfort and respect. Because of this, asking guests at checkout whether they used the minibar creates the wrong impression. It makes the experience feel less premium. It also creates an uncomfortable moment at the very end of an otherwise excellent stay. In other high-level hotels in Japan, the minibar is often complimentary or the process is handled without asking the guest this kind of question at checkout. This is a better approach for a luxury hotel. It avoids an awkward conversation and keeps the final impression positive. I strongly recommend that the hotel make the minibar complimentary, especially considering the room price and the excellent service level in all other areas. This would be a small cost for the hotel, but it would make the guest experience feel much more complete and respectful. Overall, this is a beautiful hotel with a great location, excellent breakfast, and truly wonderful staff. I would be happy to stay here again, but I hope the hotel will improve the minibar policy because it does not match the otherwise high standard of the hotel.

There were a few aspects that could be improved. The staff did not speak English well, which made communication quite difficult at times. Additionally, the buffet had very limited options, the quality was not great, and the service was quite slow

Very good gym. Very good breakfast. To use the pool you are required to wear a swim cap. The location is not the best for tourists.

The rooms are very big compared to other hotels in Tokyo ! It’s sooooo clean and the view is breathtaking. The design inside is very aesthetic and represents Japanese architecture. Whenever you walk by any of the staff they smile at you and checks whether you need anything. I highly recommend it. I will definitely come back. There is 7/11 down stairs and the station as well. It was easy to move around Tokyo with this hotel. I am very picky when it comes to giving good reviews but this one deserves it. They even put skincare kit inside and pyjama and everything is fresh and clean. Nothing at all

Best service, very clean and luxurious. Rooms spacious with great views. A bit far from shopping. Closest area is Ginza.

Cleanliness and excellent service Nothing

My room is spacious with corner view. Great location as we can walk underground from sub-way station. It's also quiet at night. We can have a very good sleep. I love the Gym and the indoor swimming pool (20 m.). The chinese restaurant called Star Hill is really an exceptional one. Very kind and helpful staffs. None

Our third trip as a family in Tokyo and we always make it a point to spend a night or two at The Capitol Hotel Tokyu. Excellent and beautiful location. There is a subway station directly under the hotel, so getting around the city is so simple. Hotel is stunningly beautiful and service is always exceptional. I had the best sleep as the beds, pillows, linens and covers are of the highest quality. I wish the hotel was more welcoming for non cigar smokers. Non smokers have to sit at the high top bar, while smokers have an entire comfortable room to themselves.

Elegant hotel located on top of the metro. Really clean with great service. The room was quiet and everything worked great. Very good breakfast buffet There’s almost nothing around the hotel except for office buildings. When you are really tired after all day walking , it will be very hard to find a place to eat without getting on the subway again. The staff was cold at times. There is poor lighting in the bathroom. They don’t have a good hairdryer.

The architect/designer of the rooms reminds me of the Cheval Blanc Paris rooms in Paris, and they are light years ahead of the standard design for hotel rooms, and even have TOTO Washlet Toilets in Europe which was a welcome sight for anyone who knows & uses TOTO Washlet Toilets!! They use to offer mouthwash as an amenity in the washrooms, but recently I have noted, “No Mouthwash,” which is a disappointment.

Perfect hotel for us. Our expectations were met and exceeded. Great staff—polite, professional, and efficient. Excellent buffet breakfast. Three subway lines are easily accessible without having to go outside. Good dining options in Akasaka within walking distance. We would come back in a heartbeat.
