Staff members are exceptional Lobby on the 45th floor ? Not a big deal, but you have to change the elevator to get out of the hotel

The attentiveness of the staff at the Ritz Carlton is peerless.

Nice views, wide bathroom. Breakfast. Excellent lobby. Excellent attention and service. They took care of sending our luggage to Kyoto and handled all the paperwork. It felt far from iconic places. Overpriced, but still a great hotel

Amazing views! Great service. My guess is they have staff on each floor to get you things you need quickly based upon how quickly items came to the room. Loved the attention to detail such as confirming the taxi with written correspondence. Breakfast was lovely. A good variety of items and excellent unique pastries both traditional and savory. Sadly didn't care for the cocktails at their bar. The bar area is beautiful at night and a great spot to relax while listening to live music.

We love everything about the hotel. But most of all the amazing wonderful staff team. They went above and beyond. Very rare to get this service truly genuine hospitality and warmth nowadays . We were extremely impressed. And for this reason we look forward to coming back. Hopefully soon.

Yoshi Hoshino made our stay enjoyable and fun. He was knowledgeable, courteous and gave excellent service. Entire staff was exceptional. In San Francisco there are hotels that offer a limousine service for guest free of charge with a 3 miles area, The Ritz Carlton should have this because the RC is an exceptional hotel. My only issue is that everyone is required to wear a very tight swimming cap. Due to the tightness of the cap, I only swam a few laps. In San Francisco the Four Seasons doesn't require a swimming cap in their junior Olympic swimming pool.

Impeccable service, though staff need to improve on their English. Great location. Some of the staff at the bar need to improve their English. They were always hurrying up for last orders by 9 ish PM.

the hallways are very dark and old. could use renovation - `brighter carpet and lighting the hallways leading to the rooms look creepy continental breakfast had small portions
