Great location, beds comfortable nothing I can remember

Carpet felt a bit dingy.

My family of 14 had a pleasant time at Tokyu Stay Shinjuku Eastside, and the residential twin was very roomy and spacious for 2 people. We love having the washing machine in the room, and in the lobby provide they all the toiletries you need during your stay. I also love the tea bags provided by the elevator. I the train station for the pink and brown line being only 5 minutes away. The hotel is right next to the red light district, I knew that before booking and in the morning you may see a few people passed out in the middle of the street.

Excellent location, freindly staff and room exceeded my expectations. Having a washer\dryer was fantastic as we have two small children. This was my first time staying in a lower-star rated hotel, however given that this had set some assumptions in my mind - I was extremely satisfied with our stay. While I would normally stay in a 4 or 5 star hotel, I would indeed stay here again.

Spacious rooms, and the setup was great for me, my wife and young kid. The bed was uncomfortable. We woke up every morning with a sore back… not ideal… It’s also not that close to Shinjuku station, but close to the ODEO line which we used often.

It has relaxing atmosphere and vibes. Nothing

Staff was very friendly and the room was amazing. Nothing, everything was perfect.

Too small for the price

The breakfast was the win for us at this property. Delicious and well stocked. The room was also very clean and filled our needs while in the area. We would have loved a water station in the main lobby area.
-
the staff were super friendly and the hotel was in a great location
-
Convenient to subway, 24 hour market across the street, very nice staff. Also close to Shinjuku station. It can be a little noisy, just off Main Street. But it settles down in the evening.
-
The room was just a bit too small, not enough space for the luggage and the outside view was blurred and it's hard to see the outside of the street.
-
No restaurant
-
The staff was attentive, and the washer-dryer in the room was a bonus. They filled out all necessary paperwork for the transfer of my luggage and even called the next hotel to inform them of the luggage.
-
I loved this spot! Location near things but in a slightly quieter space. There was a washer/dryer in the room which is absolutely amazing! The room was spacious and the beds were comfy. The staff was really welcoming.

Street noise was a bit loud

Pleasantly surprised by the amenities available in this hotel! There was free coffee and water in the lobby and the facilities were nice and clean. I also didn't realize and was happy to discover there's a washer in the room and Refa products for haircare and the hair dryer. It was a very seamless stay and the staff were very friendly. Location-wise, it was nice to stay in Shinjuku which is known to be a more populated area. It was plenty fine for us, in a bit more quiet of an area but also close in walking distance to Golden Gai etc., but note it's a bit of a further walk to the nearest stations (8-10 minutes), which doesn't seem like a lot but in Japan, those minutes and distance adds up.

Nothing!

Excellent location. Comfortable beds. Washer and dryer was greatly appreciated. Nothing

Property feels very new. Seems recently built. Excellent location easy walk to restaurants, coffee, stores, metro within 1-4 blocks. The lobby and common areas of the hotel are beautifully designed.staff is tremendous. Loads of information on the area are easily available. In multiple languages. Rooms have virtually every amenity you could think of and some you wouldn't! A built in pants press, a humidifier/air filter for example. Lighting is great, a small fridge and safe. The washer dryer combo in the room makes the trip easy if you need to get some laundry done. Overall this is a great value with everything you need. The breakfast buffet off the lobby seems a bit small at first but once you do it you realize it is really quite a perfect selection and is well rounded. Even the coffee making machine is nice, best coffee out of one of those machines I've ever had. The rooms / baths are tight, this is a Japan thing not unique to this hotel. The bed was a little too firm for us. Not terrible but took some getting used to. There is no closet space, just some hangers on a wall mounted rack that might hold 6-7 garments max. The breakfast buffet doesn't start till 7am so early risers, or early activities are hard to fit in that schedule. To be fair the buffet was never busy when we were there so perhaps they don't see the need. Both the TV and The washer have controls that are only in Japanese. There is a guide for the washer but both of these take some study if you have any hope of using them. TV is not a priority personally, but there seemed to be extremely limited channels and no English channels. just FYI.
