I love the breakfast!
-
There was insufficient space for people's luggage and shoes in the room. The place felt a bit sterile, the common area did not seem very welcoming and the hostel entrance was always crowded with smokers. The free breakfast was pretty average, I decided not worth it.
-
The bar and the many third spaces on the property, it makes it easier to connect to others my age much more easily.
-
Totally functional hostel. Clean and well run. A bit expensive for 16 bed dorm. About 10-15 minute walk from the main Shinjuku area
-
I liked the price. The price was very cheap for my stay. I was able to stay a week for around 100$. One night, a fellow bunkmate urinated over the luggage of another female bunkmate. Some bunkmates and she went to find the person responsible, but were unable to find them. The front staff were unable to find the perpetrator and sprayed Febreze in the air as a remedy.
-
The guests were very messy and left common area a mess, I know it has nothing to do with the establishment, but they could enforce it.
-
mattress was lumpy and entry/exit system seemed overly complicated (different hours for different doors etc.)
-
Area, staff, facilities, beds Like noting
-
Often in hostel bookings in dorm rooms, it is the room mates that make it an enjoyable stay or not, despite being in a 24 pod room, it was incredibly quiet. The breakfast is decent and the pizzas good. The shower facilities are excellent. There ought to be more flexibility and discretion permitted to staff around room charges for extending a stay, even with a 10% discount offered, it was cheaper to book an additional night through an external agent.
-
Room was so hot at night that I had a rough time sleeping several nights, even after asking staff to turn the temperature down, it was still sort of miserable.
-
Clean facilities, friendly staff, and convenient location. I enjoyed socializing with the other guests, as well as the onsite washer and dryer.
-
The staff, the breakfast, the location, the ease of making friends in the hostel Mattresses are a bit worn out. Not a super comfy sleep, but not terrible
-
Laundry machine costs around 500-700¥, and a new towel for the shower costs 200¥. Just a heads up.
-
Good Vibes Nothing as such
-
Great location, close to subway/train stations. Easy to get to and from various attractions. Meiji Jingu shrine was within walking distance!
-
Great location. Great hostel. Comfortable and very clean, efficient.
-
Beds were very uncomfortable. They are old I could feel everything.
-
Coffee machine was not working so getting a decent coffee was difficult.
