Sotetsu Fresa Inn Ueno Okachimachi

Location was amazing, very close to the train and metro stations. Staff were kind. Facilities and room felt very new. I think the room that I stayed at had mold or similar issue. My nose kept running immediately when I stepped into the room and stopped when I stepped out from the room to the corridor. I had to keep blowing my nose all the time when staying in the room. My throat also became sore and eyes were red from irritation. I asked about this from the reception and he mentioned that he will tell the housekeeping to clean my room more carefully in case of any dust. I don't think the housekeeping ever received this note from the reception because I also requested a later housekeeping time (after 1pm, when it is normally 10am to 2pm), and the housekeeper still tried coming to my room before 11am. All symptoms disappeared after I changed hotels. The room was smaller (9m2) than typical business hotel rooms (11-13m2) but this was informed in the description beforehand.

The location was great near in Metro subway just 50m the Ginza line, JR Yamanote line just 150m and for the Skyliner it's just 200m (if my assumption is right), the restaurant is just within your reach it's a lot within the area and more selections, there's 2 Don Quijote :), shopping streets, nothing you couldn't ask for, and the hotel, it was clean and comfy got lucky we had the corner room and we had 2 windows it gives more light everything was great, definitely we will book here again. Nothing to mention

I always heard them cleaning the other rooms in the morning as I was sleeping.

i fount some insects in the bathroom that was going out of selling heading to the bed as the bed was very close to the bathroom due to very small room

This room did what it was designed to do and that is to let us have a place to sleep for the night. This was also very close to Okachimachi station and was only a 15 minute walk to Akihabara. Very small room and you pretty much cant open your luggage unless you put it on the beds. The beds were also slightly stiff.

Excellent location. Safe and easy to find. Room was very clean. A lot of amenities to choose from. Honey-teabag was tasty and I especially liked some beauty products such as bath aroma powder, face mask (not medical, but beauty pack) , and hair pack. I felt like my own spa. Just one thing I didn't like was despite I asked not to clean the room and not to leave the towels, a cleaner came in on the day. A counter staff said not to put either sticker (orange or blue) then OK, so I did. But cleaner came in.

Location near Ueno Station wasn’t too far. Comfy bed, helpful staff. Elevators were often very slow

The room was quite humid, and I couldn't find a way to reduce the humidity. The neighborhood was also not the best for tourism. It is fine if you need to be in Ueno, but I wouldn't stay in this neighborhood next time.

The location is prime. Accessible to not only Ameyoko but the subway system connecting all other stations. The front desk staff are efficient helpful and friendly. It’s the little surprises that make things memorable. Example, on one rainy day they offered the use of umbrellas. How thoughtful. Even the Housekeeping staff are courteous and caring. There were no negatives. The staff always attempt to accommodate your needs and tries to answer questions sincerely.

access from Ueno Okachimachi station and Ueno station, bed was comfy I didn't like the musty/moldy smell emanating from the bathroom drain. The AC was difficult to initiate and required staff to show me that one must push the on button very hard. A note should be provided with that information. Elevator was very slow at times requiring long waits exceeding 4 minutes.

The location is very good for shopping or transit to anyplace in Tokyo It’s good to provide anything small cleaning item you need

The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Both check-in and check-out were very smooth, and the front desk staff were very kind. The access is very convenient, I will stay here again. None

I had a great stay at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Ueno-Okachimachi in Tokyo. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, and its central location makes it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more pleasant. I would definitely recommend it for a comfortable and convenient stay!
