Wise Owl Hostels River Tokyo

Wise Owl Hostels River Tokyo provided a comfortable and memorable stay with a friendly atmosphere. Everything looked relatively fresh and new. Sasha, Yugo, Kuga, and Subaru were especially welcoming and helpful throughout my visit. Their kindness and excellent service made the hostel feel like a home away from home. It was also very cool to watch a Japan versus Tunisia World Cup game with them! N/A

Kitchen was small but that’s not a big problem. Overall I don’t have any complaint. Just other guest that not care about others, talking n moving around at midnight. Maybe because i was stay in mixed dorm.

I really loved staying gere, the place is clean and tidy

It was relatively convenient to get to from the subway, it is near the skytree and attractions near that. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is literally underneath a railroad track. Not adjacent to, under - the train runs over your head. There is a lot of noise, a lot of shaking. The bed was not very comfortable for me.

Really good vibes with great staff. The location is really solid and the cafe is a good amenity. The blinds on the capsule beds aren’t perfect but it’s fine.

Cute place with coffee/alcohol bar and tables on the ground floor. The train was nearby but the noise was not at all an issue for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Clean, comfortable rooms. Even though the shower room was down the hall, each shower stall was private and had a locking door. The shared iron and ironing board was also handy. We didn’t prepare food there, but there was ample space to prepare and refrigerate food.

Kitchen and laundry area was quite small with a narrow space for eating.

If you look a lively place and also to socialize it is a good place. The staff also nice and they have a bar and cafe On the weekend it’s a but loud and the train could be a bit loud if you want to rest early

The shared shower rooms are separated by gender. And it is comfortable to shower in them. The small kitchen and the narrow passage where you have to sit at rickety tables have a carpet full of stains. Really disgusting. And there were also rags of cloth hanging nearby, as if this was an alley in a village in India. In the room, it was impossible to get in next to the bed, nor to reach the window. In the shared bathroom, half of the cubicles were taken out of use. Wallpaper in some corners of the room is torn, as is the rest of the neglect in the place. In the public space on the 2nd floor, the feeling is unpleasant. - Quite a disrespect towards the guests in the hostel.

Easy to find, accessible and cozy. The neighborhood is peaceful. Great for solo travellers! Nothing

We liked the layout of the place and the overall vibe...very welcoming and chill. Could've had drinks available early am.

The location was truly excellent. It had a spacious interior with a nice coffee shop, and I really liked the outdoor seating area as well. It was very close to the metro station, making it easy to get anywhere. If you explore the surroundings, there are plenty of things to see within walking distance. There are also many restaurants nearby. The bed was relatively large, and although the showers were shared, each one had its own door, which made it comfortable and convenient to use. Thank you.

Very clean and comfortable stay! Staff were very friendly downstairs lounge area was nice. Great location handy to subway! Would recommend good value for the price Luggage storage under the stairs in the main area didn’t seem very secure but the staff are very open about that. Had no issues!

Wise Owl staff are a 10+ The manager- Miwa San has an eye for talent. From the front desk to the housekeepers, everyone is friendly, engaging and helpful. There was a guest who lost their cell phone. One of the front desk staff went out of their way to help them recover it and researched a store in the event they couldn't. They have a great rapport with the guest from the start. Another plus is their dorm rooms They're spacious, clean and the beds are comfortable.The best part..instead of an awkward ladder to climb to reach the upper bunk, there are steps! The nearest train station is only six minutes away; there's a convenience store next door and the nearest supermarket is less than 15 min away. There's a great lounge area with a bar! I highly recommend the Wise Owl River. Pictured are Miwa San and her hard working team. The kitchen area on the 2nd floor is small which makes it challenging to prepare meals especially if there are other guests using it at the same time. I hope the ownership will consider renovating the second floor dining area for more space and replacing the carpet. It's dingy and is mismatched with the rest of the hostel's cool vibe. The CO-ED showers. As a female guest, it can be daunting to share a bathing area with male guests.
