The hotel was incredibly clean, and the amenities were nice. Our room was comfortable, with plenty of toiletries, shower was awesome, comfortable nightshirts. It was quiet. The location was easy for our cab driver to find on the way out. The open snack bar area was a very nice touch and excellent for families, plenty of options that kids would enjoy. We were promised the ability to store luggage after check out, confirmed before arrival, and confirmed upon arriving. When we went to check out, we were told we couldn't store bags, and the staff were unhelpful in finding options. The information they provided was incorrect, and they were unapologetic about telling us we could store bags then taking that back. Ultimately, we found options ourselves via the Ecbo Cloak app, which was a 10 minute walk and cost 8,000Yen. The location was not a far walk from Shinjuku activities, but was in a more party and night life oriented area of Tokyo than anticipated, being the dirtiest area of Japan we've experienced (but compared to other cities, still incredibly clean). It's not seedy, but definitely more of a fit for those who enjoy clubbing or don't mind a walk to other areas. We're a pretty "live & let live" family, so the obvious adult themes of the area weren't a bother, but I can see it being offputting to some with small kids. When we came back in the evening to wait for our cab to take us to the airport, my spouse needed to use the lobby restroom. At first, the staff refused and were rude. After asking again, they let her, but only after a lengthy wait. It was uncharacteristically rude compared to our check-in hospitality and our other experiences in the country, and surprising for a ~70,000Yen one night stay. Smaller issue, but the beds were pushed together. With 4 of us in the room, we had two double beds. One bed was pushed against the wall, the other bed against that one. It created an uncomfortable entry/exit to the bed, as on neither side of that bed was there a natural and normal side access to the mattress (and likewise on the side of the other bed pushed against it). This required us to crawl and shimmy from the foot of the bed for 3 of 4 sides of the bed. For what we paid, that felt like a bit of a dorm room experience vs. a hotel that advertises as a bit upscale.

The room & bathroom was very small. The luggage delivery service they offer is very vague and kind of sketchy. They need clear directions.

I loved how comfortable the room felt. It a coffee maker that was made for camping. I loved grinding the coffee and made it myself. I liked the selection of whole coffee bean on the first floor. It was great. Nothing I didn’t like about the hotel.

Free drinks and snacks Too expensive

Good size room for Tokyo. Quirky lobby with lots of free goodies. Convenient location. Friendly staff. Surrounding area well known as being a bit seedy late at night.

The hotel was clean and the free amenities/snacks/drinks. Even the paid 24hr room service had some fairly priced and delicious options! We got 2 meals for about 1900 yen. The walk from the train station is long.

Location is in Kabukicho area which was filthy, maybe because I went on New years eve. The very next day, EMT team was performing CPR in parking lot across street. Sight felt little intense. Many restaurants allowed smoking and cigarettes in many walking area..area is loud and lots younger people out for fun in this red light district. Felt little unsafe for me. Lots of littering as well. I will skip this area when I visit again.

They don’t do luggage delivery services on the weekend, so that may interfere with your plans. There’s a Yamato counter at Kabukicho tower that you can use if that’s the case.

How cute the hotel was and all the little goodies it offered free. Little bit of sketchy people at night

the amenities and food in the ground floor are free and the location is very very good, all are near to the hotel. Also the staffs can understand and speak english, they are also accomodating and respectful there are cockroaches in the rooftop and rats in the garden in the ground floor

The location is in the heart of the busy Shinjuku bottle club scene, which we didn't realize when booking. If you're heading to Tokyo for a party, this is a great location for you. If that's not your scene, this isn't the best option. The rooms were very small and a little oddly laid out, so it was extremely tight for our family of 4.

Free snacks and drinks. Room service food was delicious. Room was cramped.

  • Engine customer May 2025

It was nice that they provided some free food (including a chocolate fountain) at all times. The rooms are super small (double room). They don't provide daily cleaning services. Location is ok, but not great. This is a love hotel and they should disclose it. We wouldn't have stayed there had we known. There were obvious situations of prostitution. Made us feel uncomfortable.

The room and hotel were great and well designed. The amenities were extensive and the staff courteous. The hotel name on Booking.com should state that it is adults only i.e. a love hotel.

    Location and comfort

  • Engine customer Feb 2025

Excellent little sanctuary in the hustle of Shinjuku. Fantastic amenities, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. This was my second time staying here.

  • Engine customer Jan 2025

It has a nice buffet downstairs, which is free and available all the time. The room has nice amenities and it has a Bluetooth speaker inside. Bed was a bit uncomfortable, and also the the pillows. They wouldn’t have given me another blanket like you get in the room only this small one which they have in the lobby for the staying outside. there is no cleaning only if you ask. elevators is slow.
