Great location in the heart of Tokyo. Easy access to train stations, restaurants, and shopping areas. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. Overall, everything was good.

The environment is nice , it’s not bad , the staff is very kind

The position is amazing, just 3 minute walk from the metro station and 10 minute walk to Shinjuku main station. Also very close to all the Shinjuku area if you like to go shopping or partying, enjoying the nightlife Tokyo has to offer. The only thing I didn’t like it was the like old rooms, a touch up would be necessary. And the social part of the hostel, well forget it. At least in my personal experience.

Friendly staff, with busy common area at reception/entrance to building. Decent cooking facilities and number of showers etc. Standard capsule type bedroom. Met lots of other travellers there. Good location and walkable to major rail/metro stations. Nominal charge for towel and locker. Wifi bad at times but generally fine.

Had a really great experience. I wonder if the guests rating this place low are used to staying in hostels. I genuinely don't understand the bad reviews otherwise lol. The staff were friendly and I enjoyed the common rooms. Super close to the club so I managed to walk home quickly and slip into bed quietly :) It's in Shinjuku where a lot of nightlife is. I recommend staying here if you want to party and have a good time! If that's not what you're looking for, then I'd probably book somewhere cheaper like Asakusa or Ueno.

Amazing location and cute cafe downstairs to hang out in Nothing really kind of small if I had to say anything but that’s Tokyo

My room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, providing everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The hostel is also in a very convenient location, with easy access to transportation, restaurants, and many attractions. The staff were outstanding. The girls at the reception were always friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. The blonde staff member in particular was an excellent guide, offering great recommendations and useful advice that made my visit to Tokyo even more enjoyable. Overall, IMANO Tokyo Hostel offers excellent value for money and a very enjoyable atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo.

The dorm has some smell and poor ventilation/air conditioning.

Great location

Wasn't too clean but it is a hostel in which the guests do the dirtying

I have stayed here several times now and I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful, and its location is good. (It's a 10-minute walk to Shinjuku Station and only about 3-5 min. to Shinjuku 3-chome Station.) The bed is decent and long enough for even a tall guy (6'4" = 193 cm) like myself to fit. I have always had issue with the noise problem during nighttimes at this hostel. People are going in and out of the room even in the middle of the night (from midnight to even 4 a.m.). The clientele is almost all foreigners, which is fine (I am an American myself), but I have noticed very different etiquette manners between Japanese and foreigners. Each 8-bed or 10-bed room has a electronic keypad door lock, which is a great thing for safety/security, but not only is the keypad noisy (beep, beep, beep with each number pressed), but the door unlocking is noisy and the door closing is noisy as well. So it is really difficult to get good sleep. Add on top of that a somewhat expensive price tag (I pad 8,000 yen) and I think there are better hostel options out there in the Shinjuku/Kabukicho area (that can usually be had for 4,000-5,000 yen a night).

Convenience and Location Temperature. Extreme in the variations. Hot inside the bunk. Cold outside the bunk.
-
Very good location next to kabukicho and golden gai, easy to go around Tokyo from the nearby metro as well. The Cafe area is pleasant and great for connecting with other travelers, and has staff 24/7 for any issues. The beds were somewhat stiff and the rooms were very cramped. The rooms at the ends of the floor have more space but the ones in the middle are incredibly cramped. Fairly pricey as well.

Best hostel in Tokyo , very clean and social Nothing it was fantastic
-
Great hostel and cafe in Tokyo, I recommend
-
i liked the cool bar zone downstairs, quite tight but made it more collegiate. the stupid entry codes for rooms, totally unnecessary and impossible to read and work
-
Nothing.

The property was located in a great spot. Everything was clean and working. The cafe was quite nice and everything was very easy to navigate. I liked everything about the property.
-
Location is convenient , ppl and staff are friendly, only a few ppl in each dorm, budget friendly, so many showers and toilets, there’s a room with a sofa, chairs and tables you can hang out or do work in (not like social-meet-people vibes) I personally would have liked if it was a no-shoes facility. It is a personal preference but i felt it more strongly about this place than other shoes-on hostels I’ve been to

Location Rude staff, smelly rooms, drunk guest
