Very near to a train station, restaurants, drug stores, and convenience store. Dusty rooms. Stuffy.

The room was very clean, a bit small but to be expected. The location isn’t too close to many attractions; however, it was located close to the Yamanode line and was about a 20-30 minute commute to all of the main tourist attractions. I like how the neighborhood wasn’t too busy, felt very safe. The walls are thin so you can hear the people next door if they’re loud, heard someone lightly snoring at night.

It was quite noisy. Every morning I woke up by talking and knocking sound came from corridor. I think the hotel is old, so the soundproofing is poor.

A cheaper business hotel, but a comfortable one. In a good location of Sugamo with a quick walk to JR Station Sugamo on the Yamanote Line. Several good restaurants and konbini nearby as well as the very popular Sugamo Street. The room itself is a bit dated, but comfortable and clean. The cleaning staff are super friendly and do a wonderful job. The internet. The hotel has truly awful wifi across both of my stays. I had to direct connect via ethernet with my laptop to maintain stable internet speeds and not have it constantly drop on me.

Room is great for the solo traveler. As a smoker, I appreciated that there was a smoking room, especially with Tokyo's strict no smoking in the streets policy. I liked that my room was on the same floor as the laundry machines. So many options for eating on the same street as hotel. Staff always greeted us with a smile. And were also patient with us despite language barrier. Not much to dislike from my end, honestly. I just wish the smoking room had some seating after a long, long day of walking 20K+ steps :) would love to bring my family here but its not the most family friendly as far as larger rooms.

The number one thing I love about this place is the location, it is very close to the station like 5min walk. The staff is very helpful and kind making the stay more comfortable and cozy. Although I only spend my time in the hotel to sleep I always come back to a clean room with new towels. The humidifier for me looks like its not maintained.

Amazing location, about 3 minutes walk from JR Sugamo Station which is along the Yamamoto line allowing easy access to all major tourist areas. Staff at the front desk are friendly. The room was basic but clean, and had room service available everyday. Powerful water pressure in the shower. Nice place to come back to rest after a whole day of exploring. despite it being a non-smoking room there was a faint stale cigarette smell (not sure if it’s the room or if it’s coming from the aircon) hence I’m giving it 8 stars and not 10

The staff were friendly and efficient. I had phone conferences in the room and sometimes I couldn’t leave my room until later in the morning, and the cleaning lady was patient with me. The location was very convenient. It was close to the Sugamo station. There were restaurants, Seiyu, convenient stores etc…near by and I made a pair of new glasses from the store across the street. The room was very small, but it is not unusual in Tokyo business hotels.
