The location was a 10 out of 10 and the room was so spacious. This place by far was the best of our entire trip. We would 100% come back to it in future. I loved having two bathrooms and beds were very comfortable. My kids loved their cozy capsules. The street was quiet and everything was close enough. Mini kitchen had all the necessities. We even got toothbrushes! Everything was terrific.

The location was super lovely. Near a ton of cool things, but on a quiet street. Occasionally I could hear outside noise through the window, but that is just city living and for the most part it was very quiet. The only thing that could have made it better was having a dishwasher and a laundry washer and dryer.

Nice space, beautifully built out by artists with lovely handmade and hand painted touches. Spacious! Great location. Two bathrooms! Two toilets! Nice deep little soaking tub perfect for families who have kids to bathe especially. Tiny thing: metal shelf/rack by the front door, perhaps meant for shoes? was broken. Good to know that this is an apartment converted from a former guesthouse, and some of the quirks of the layout make total sense once you know this.

Stayed 2nd floor , no elevator but staff helped us with bags! Sleeps 6. Everything else is Great! No elevator

This apartment was perfect for my family of 4 roomy and comfortable. It is in a perfect location close to the train station. They communicate and provide the information to get in the apartment if you arrive after hours. Everything was perfect

Nothing!

The property is well maintained and it helps that there were two bathrooms. I don’t have anything that I don’t like about the property. It was just unfortunate that we had to leave the next day to go to Kyoto. I would have loved to stay there longer.

Air conditioning could be a little stronger over bed area we kicked blankets off most nights.

None.

I loved the space and the location. Close to shops, restaurants, and temple. The bathroom was great for groups-two showers and two separate toilets made it much easier for morning and evening routines

This was my kids’ favorite place we have ever stayed (in Japan or elsewhere)—it is spacious and comfortable, and the kids’ bunks are so much bigger than I had anticipated. It was like mini-apartments where they could go to decompress, with lights and outlets and a curtain they could close for privacy. Our teen liked to close the curtains around the bedroom area while my husband and I hung out on the sofa and made plans for the next day. We loved having two toilets and two showers, and the hosts were incredibly generous with keeping us stocked with fresh towels midway through our stay. Denchi Guest House is located just a ten minute walk from Senso-ji and an even shorter walk to Tawaramachi station, which is just a short ride away from the Yamanote Line. You can walk through Kitchen Street on the way to Ueno Park if you don’t feel like taking the train, too. Plenty of convenience stores and grocery stores nearby, and coin-operated laundry nearby, too. We hope to come stay again someday.

We absolutely loved our stay at DENCHI! The space was incredibly spacious and had such a great ambiance—modern, clean, and super comfortable, especially with kids. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and having multiple showers and toilets made things so convenient for our family. Honestly, my only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer. It was one of our favorite accommodations during our Japan trip, and I’d definitely stay here again if we come back to Tokyo. Highly recommend—such a gem! Nothing.

Loads of space, very clean and comfortable. 2 separate showers with lovely soft towels. Power points by bed. Well thought out with storage space for luggage in room. Good location for train station and shops and bars/eateries close by. Wish we could have stayed longer. Having to carry luggage up steep flight of stairs

Spacious homestay on a quiet street in Asakusa. Eateries and bars a short walk away. Close to several subway lines. Check-in was easy - punch code on the door. Small kitchenette, 2 showers, 2 WCs. Our kids especially liked the bunk bed sleeping compartments. Would absolutely stay again.

Excellent space - much larger than most options for families (we’re a family of four) Great location in nishiasakusa, sandwiched between Asakusa and Kappabashi. Beware if you have babies, toddlers or small kids there’s a flight of stairs to the apartment, and small internal step between main living and bathrooms. Communication is limited with staff - via the app, you won’t be dealing with anyone face to face for check in or questions.

Location and space was fantastic. Both beds in same area but that’s not a huge deal, just different to what we are normally used to.
-
The space was amazing! Loved the two showers and toilets, as well as the bath. The location was perfect for us (close to Ginza and Asakusa lines). Close enough to everything but not completely in the centre. Nothing!
-
For large groups, having two separate toilets and showers saves so much time. Usually on other trips we would have to wait and queue for an hour before we're all done showering.

Brilliant location in asakusa. Easy to get around rest of tokyo. Very nice apartment especially with a family. Close to shops. On ginza and express line. Great double showers, double toto toilets. Only thing missing was a washing machine.
