Holiday Inn Express & Suites Toledo West by IHG

Market is not open 24/7. I wanted a couple of sodas and there wasn’t any one on duty at the front desk at 3am! I waited 15 minutes.

The iron that was in the room was bad but they replaced it

Holiday Inn and Expedia could not communicate with each other to resolve my reservation problem. I had ordered two rooms from Expedia but Holiday Inn said I had ordered only one. I was then required to purchase an additional room. Effectively, I was forced to pay for three rooms.

Great location and close by to lots of restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful, but the property itself was dirty and not maintained well

The room was a basic King and was fine. We spent 4 nights. Breakfast was good and the general surrounding satisfactory. Our only qualm was that housekeeping never came to clean our room. We had to ask for clean towels which we got until the following day. We had to make the bed ourselves.

The breakfast was the best part of this stay. The rooms were dirty. My daughter's feet were black from just walking around. We found multiple hairs on the bed upon checking in. Our refrigerator didn't work and we had food/drinks we needed to keep cold. Front desk was rude when I brought it up, they did rudely offer to move us rooms but moving with a toddler wasn't ideal. We just used our cooler and bought ice for our stay. The pool was what my toddler was most excited for and it looks nothing like the pictures. It looked dirty but it was actually stained for something. The location for stuff was good and easily could get back to the high way. Just disappointed for the price I paid for this trip and what we really got out of it.

I had a pleasant stay at the Holiday Inn express Westgate in Toledo, Ohio. The staff was exceedingly helpful, courteous, and welcoming, the room was comfortable and clean. Unfortunately, we did have an issue with one of the elevators being out of service for two days, but that can be expected anywhere. The only negative comment is that it would benefit the overall appearance of the Hotel if they would shampoo the carpeting more often or have a on-site carpet cleaner as the carpets in and around the elevators badly needed cleaning

It was busy at check in the check in staff was a little overwhelmed. The hotel was a full night. But other than that everyone was kind and friendly. The breakfast was well staffed and a pretty good breakfast. Tash was the lady taking care of breakfast did an outstanding job and extremely helpful and friendly. Lots of staff cleaning in the morning and friendly.

We checked in at 7:30 PM. There was a lot of people in the lobby. It was a very loud atmosphere. The concierge mentioned nothing of a quiet time or that they were going to mitigate the noise. Those same people commenced to stand out front of the property, talking as loudly as they could until well past 1:30 in the morning. I made repeated calls to the front desk to investigate the noise, and it wasn't until 1:30 in the morning that they went outside to dismiss those people and the noise was still present Until 2 in the morning. The next morning, the front desk basically said, since I booked through a third party, I had no recourse. And there would be no compensation.

The room was clean and comfortable. There was a problem with the dryer unfortunately, so no pool towels and only small towels in the hotel room bathroom. Had to ask for replacement shampoo because our pump was broken, but lady at the front desk was kind. The pool was decent, 3-5 foot deep, no hot tub at this location and you have to have the desk worker open the door to enter the pool area (for safety they said). Breakfast was a mix of hot and cold food. Coffee was available 24/7. Ice machines are on the 3rd and 5th floor.

Clean room, quiet, comfortable, great breakfast, friendly staff and secure parking. Close to many restaurants, shopping and expressways.
