Very good location, just a 5-minute walk from Bloor–Yonge Station. The beds were comfortable, and the apartment had been recently renovated. All the kitchen equipment was new and in excellent condition. The apartment had been recently renovated, but unfortunately, there was still a strong smell of fresh paint, which was quite bothersome. The air-conditioning unit is also quite old and very noisy, especially if you need to use it at night. This was particularly inconvenient during the very hot summer temperatures.

Location was good. Easy access to downtown and restaurants. Beds were decent. Lobby and common space on main floor seemed new and up to date. The room was very old and has not been renovated. While surfaces are clean there were areas that are old and stained on the floors and walls and corners. There was pealing paint and caulking in the bathroom. It was on the second floor and the smell from the back (garbage or something) was terrible. With the windows closed it was stuffy and hot and the room had its own odour. Other than the beds, the furniture and cupboards were decades well worn and used. White towels were rough from over use and greying.

Cooking utensils and cutlery, hardly any and of poor quality. Some things didn’t work and had to be repaired after we checked in and reported it. I.e the air conditioner fan pumping cool air into the bedroom. Outside noise insulation could be better.

The hotel was very clean and the rooms were impressively spacious, with comfortable beds and fresh, clean sheets. The self-catering facilities were excellent and made the room particularly practical for a longer stay. Staff were generally attentive and helpful, including assisting us with our luggage, which we really appreciated. We experienced some genuinely thoughtful and proactive service during our stay. Stephanie was an excellent welcoming front of house staff, and anticipated our needs as guests, which we are so grateful for. The main drawbacks for me were more about atmosphere. The lighting in our room was quite bright and fluorescent-white; personally, I would have preferred warmer lighting to create a cosier and more relaxing environment. The room was wonderfully large, but this also made it feel slightly echoey. Some additional sound-absorbing furnishings, such as luxurious rugs or carpeting, would make the space feel warmer, quieter and more inviting.

Crazy big those formerly apartments - much better than any hotel room and really really nice view (even though you can't open the balcony anymore) The breakfast is a little limited in the cafe nearby but the place is cute

The price was why we picked it. Having a kitchen and separate living room was a bonus. The staff are phenomenal. They are so responsive. There were a couple things not working in our room and the response time was incredibly fast. I loved that it was near the Pride district called Out On the Street. It was a nice surprize and made me happy. The air conditioning to the bedroom was questionable. They have a a hole in the wall with a fan that draws the air in. If it had been warmer it could have been very hot in the room. The workmanship on the remodel is not high quality.
