Holiday Inn Los Angeles Gateway - Torrance by IHG

Beds were comfortable, rooms nice enough, convenient location to freeways, ample parking (although they charge) with EV slow chargers. There is zero retail or restaurant within walking distance. But it works for a quick stay.

Breakfast was very basic. The same for three days…

The only downside to this place is they picked June to do maintenance on the pool ! Everything about it was great, but that.

Pool was under renovation double check if this is important for you before booking.

We stayed here for the FIFA world cup. Not to far to Sofi which is like a 15 drive. I would have given it a 5 star if breakfast is already included but it was an option. But the restaurant has discounted rate. We still had breakfast there and paid. Staff at the restaurant were great especially Laura. The food was very good kinda asian and american breakfast. Over all it was a nice location and plenty of parking.

I believe her name was Evelyn, the shuttle driver, was absolutely wonderful and I felt very safe being driven around by her. Room service food arrived quickly and was great. Front desk staff and management were quick to accommodate any additional needs during my stay. The property was beautiful and maintained well even through the current renovations.

The staff was amazing from the front desk, the restaurant staff, and maintenance. We had a small issue withe the room ac and it was fixed immediately.

The Netflix, YouTube, and cast features on our TV did not work. The tv channels were not great, that was super annoying. The wifi was not reliable and kept disconnecting. EV Charging was very slow and had a time limit, it would stop charging in the middle of the night once the 4hr time was up and I would have to go down stairs and restart the charging process.
