The fact that I booked one room for 4 people and when we arrived the staff asked us to book 1 more room because it was not possible to stay in one room with 4 people, and the price was almost double compared to the booking price. On the morning we couldn’t eat breakfast because the breakfast time was until 9am but we arrived at 8:55 but the entrance was closing at 8:45…

Excellent location, great breakfast, kind staff, convenient laundry. Liked the option to sign into Netflix. Spare bed (converted from the sofa) was super firm and quite uncomfortable, but other beds were fine. The small bathroom was similar to other hotels like this, but it was the smallest we had encountered among 8 other hotels.

Incredibly smooth keyless system, uses keypads with codes. Let's me pick my own pillow for my room!! Goodbye beanbag pillows! Onsen / warm bath on the top floor Rather spacious room for the price with all the essentials including microwave. Self-service breakfast from 6:30AM. These are all very minor constructive complaints: - I feel the onsen times for men aren't the best. - As an early riser, I'd have hoped for breakfast from 6AM

The onsen has a no-tattoo restriction which wasn't clear upon booking. Besides improving the way they advertise it, maybe it'd be nice to review if such policy should stand for an international chain. Perhaps running a survey among their clientele to see how welcoming they'd be to people with tattoos sharing the onsen. Or even scheduling some time frame for guests with tattoos to be able to enjoy the onsen as well! The breakfast was nice but sadly there were very few vegetarian options. Not to mention there was not a single vegan or gluten free option available. Everything contains animal products in a way or another. When it came to the environmental policies, there's still room for improvement: moving away from disposable items would be such a game changer!

Basic breakfast included. It was quiet. There was a single Onsen so the hours were split into male and female block times. Snug but manageable.

Amazing location with a nice view! Just a few minutes walk from the train station. The breakfast was great with an assortment of options. The amenity station was convenient as were the vending machines. I did use the laundry during my stay and it worked great with clear directions.

We enjoyed the hotel breakfast which was your basic Japanese 'business hotel' breakfast with a mix of Western and Japanese items (fish, meatballs/sausage, tamagoyaki, natto, miso soup, etc.) and rotated some items every day. The facilities were generally clean (see below) and our bathroom, while tiny, was mostly spotless. The shower was great. We didn't use the onsen but it was nice having that available (note that a lot of reviews on Google state that the onsen is TINY). Coin laundry available on the first floor with a change machine by the front desk in case you don't have enough coins. Parking available with assigned parking lot spaces that helped make parking every day stress-free (cost 700 yen per night). Beds were comfy (see below for exception). We liked being able to pick from a range of different types of pillows on the first floor, with some nice amenities also available (the Vitamin C serum was great). We booked a triple room for our family. The room was quite spacious by Japanese hotel room standards with plenty of room for our luggage. It came with a bunk bed that could fit 2 people on the bottom and 1 person on top. We were surprised that you had to make the bed on the top bunk yourself--sheets and things were provided but it was a little annoying we had to do this after a long day of traveling to get to Tottori. The room also came with a sofa bed that was shockingly bad. Same as with the top bunk, we were provided with sheets, blanket, pillow, etc. to make this bed ourselves but we quickly realized the poor quality of the sofa bed would make it impossible to sleep comfortably on. It was sunken in the middle and would definitely lead to back pain! Thankfully our family was able to make due without it. The wall behind the sofa bed was also in bad shape--lots of scratches and chipped paint that could definitely use some maintenance. It made us a little uncomfortable at first although the rest of the room was fine. Breakfast time could be extended to be more convenient for travelers/tourists--it ended at 8:30 am and staff promptly whisked everything away.

Bed and pillow. There were not left pillows to take into rooms.

I was impressed with the free amenities and general setup. The system is quite nice. I was also a fan of the drink bar they offer in the evenings. The room was a little cramped, but not bad. The onsen was pretty small, so you might have to wait if you want to bathe, but the rooms do have showers and baths.

Location good. Tight rooms. Spa had different times for male and female. Tattoos not permitted.

Easy walk from the station. If you drive, there is a car park attached for ¥700 per night. Lovely helpful staff. Welcome drinks available between 6-9pm. Breakfast included. Hot spring bath on site. Different timings for men and women to access the bath. The beds were comfortable. Lots of choices of pillows. The room stayed warm. The shade completely blocked out the outside like. Lovely views of the city and mountains from the window. Clean ensuite with Toilet, Shower and Bath. Lots of free amenities to make your stay comfortable. Kettle and fridge in the room.

Welcome bar was great. Best laundry facilities we’ve had so far in Japan which we really appreciated. Decent location close to the train station. By far the smallest rooms we’ve had. Pillows are so uncomfortable.

    Nothing!

Excellent value for a room and breakfast plus onsen

  • Engine customer Oct 2025

Great amenities The onsen had a weird male time and female time , it's not a separate space

A Surprise find! Close to the train station, great value for money, a welcoming happy hour in the evening, a refreshing onsen, quiet and clean, and a tasty breakfast. What is not to like?

Amazing staff hospitality. Welcome bar was a pleasant surprise especially since it was raining at night and we couldn’t go out. Onsen was great but very very crowded so we couldn’t enjoy it. Through no fault of the hotel, but onsen was quite small and got very crowded very quickly so i didn’t get to enjoy it
