Cherry Tree Inn & Suites

We loved the view of our room and how clean the property was. We found out at check in that the hotal had a shuttle. We used it everyday and enjoyed Susie's company. She is a gem!! She gave us many recommendations on places and made our trip wonderful!

We loved the room that had a balcony that looked out over Lake Michigan . The room was large and very clean. The breakfast was just OK. The location was great. We would stay there again if we ever went back to Teaverse City, Mi.

We enjoyed are stay. The staff was great.loved the beach view.

Very nice! I do wish the outdoor pool hours were different though.

rooms very tired. a tv in mirror could have opted out of that for new carpet,refreshed painted walls and doors and another elevator!

Laura is amazing! Only thing that was a bit annoying about our stay was that the shower tub doesn't drain too well, bathroom sink needs better cleaning and room could be vacuumed better. Beach view was beautiful and hotel is close to attractions.

Our stay here was great! We had a wonderful view of the Bay! Water was beautiful. Room was nice. Breakfast was wonderful. Staff were friendly.

Great location for exploring view of the bay beautiful for both sunrise and sunset. Nice chairs outside for lounging by the pools and beach. Beautiful property kept well on the outside. Breakfast was adequate but not changing daily. Room was clean and plenty of room for suitcases and sitting. Balcony was wonderful to have to listen to the water at night. While room was sufficient the door was difficult to open and close. The property could use a freshen up paint throughout and common areas particularly. The linen in the bedroom needs to be more substantial. It was thin and a bit aged. We wanted to use paddle boards which we thought were available but nobody at the shed where they were stored. Coffee bar not very good quality with paper cups and insufficient cream offering. We paid a substantial price for the two weekend nights and expected more amenities for the price.

Gorgeous grounds, nice staff, views and outdoor amenities. Along with 2 pools. Broken locks in room, beds hard as a rock, cobwebs all over balcony. Just rundown for $450+ per night.

I like the beachfront view. Our room was not clean. The sheets for the sofa bed did not look like it’s been washed since the last guests. The bed sheets were stained with clumps of red stuff. The staff was not friendly at all.

about as big as two phone booths,3 pieces of eq, no wipes, for what you spend it is useless. Large tree blocks the sign so you can drive right by it . POOL/HOT TUB ARE GREAT

Staff was friendly, breakfast was what you'd expect (not amazing by any means but still good, multiple options). The room we booked was gigantic for the price, and very clean! My only complaint was that during the three nights we stayed, housekeeping never visited our room. Luckily we pick up after ourselves, but I was disappointed that our trash was never emptied and fresh towels weren't automatically given. I'm assuming I missed some type of memo on no-housekeeping-ness of it all. Kind of a bummer! The pool was very warm clean itself, but each night we went into the indoor pool area the tile floor was a little crusty (either from sand or snacks). The floor wasn't super dirty, but cleaning it of debris more than once a day would be nice. We wore out sandals any time we were not in the water for this reason. The pool itself very clean and super warm. The hot tub was way too hot; we couldn't spend more than a minute in it before having to get back into the pool. A very nice part of the hotel was their little snack shop. Various local snacks and quick meals, waters and soft drinks. Not a huge selection but definitely nice. I toko advantage of it multiple times for a late night snack. ALSO! The front desk gives out cookies for free, which was an amazing touch! Yum!

All was good. It’s a small thing but we really liked that there were plenty of towel racks in the bathroom. The shuttle into town was very handy. Very friendly and helpful staff. Difficult and a bit scary getting in and out of the tub/shower. Hand holds and a non-slip bath mat inside the tub would be great. The door from the stairs into the fourth floor hallway sticks; we had to use the elevator.

They have breakfast in the morning just kind of your basic. Their website is still talking about Covid, which is strange.

Clean hotel in a great location on the water. Our family enjoyed it.

Unfortunately, the pictures used in the Expedia listing was not what our room looked like at all. The only rooms that are new and remodeled are waterfront. Second, the air worked great, but the humidity level was SO high that our beach clothes never dried out. After 2 days. The indoor pool area was kind of gross. Lastly, during breakfast service one morning, an employee had his laptop set up at a table in the common area and was SLEEPING! Another employee came over and woke him up. Guests needed a place to eat breakfast and he just had his head down, sleeping on the table. We would go again, but only if we can book a waterfront room.

Very disappointed. Expected much more for the price.
