Wonderful revival of a classic mid century roadside motel! Nicely appointed with well curated or quality reproduction pieces. The owner/operator is totally committed to making sure your stay is enjoyable. The bathroom (in #110) was a bit tight and would have benefited from a borrowed couple of feet from the bedroom to give a bit more space in front of the shower.

Excellent location, especially if you are going to the Old Mission Peninsula for wine tasting. Very cute, extremely quiet, and the beds were comfortable.

The Sierra Motel was amazing. We were able to check in early and get on our way to explore Traverse City and the coastline. The rooms were very nice and you could tell they do a great job of keeping everything up to date. The retro style was fun too.
