Albergo Ristorante Lavedo

Location to the villa is excellent. It's pretty much beside the entrance and can just park in the hotel to go to the villa. The room is very hot even just at the beginning of summer. There is no AC in the room. The tower fans don't even do anything. We weren't able to sleep because of the heat. You also share a community balcony where you might find several guests lying in the sunbed just beside your balcony. The communication with the staff is also bad as it's a busy restaurant.

Location is very good

Besides its perfect location to Villa Del Balbianello, this family run place was lovely to stay at. The staff were very welcoming despite any language barriers. The breakfast was an added bonus that was delicious. My room was clean and smelled so good. I felt like I was staying over at my grandparents house and it was a great feeling. I will definitely come back here on my next visit!

No elevator or air conditioning. Rooms are one and two flights up. Might be a problem for less active or older people. Older facility.

The breakfast was ok. Location is good.

Very clean and stuff are very friendly and family oriented. When we arrived people were drinking but not bothering nobody. Room was very very big and clean and good breakfast.

Was an amazing location, so close to great restaurants, shops and swimming plus Villa del Balbianello entrance was right there! Beautiful views, staff were super friendly, breakfast was great and we wished we stayed longer Was hard not having air conditioning during the heat wave but can’t complain when you’re in the most beautiful location

Home is located in a stunning village with stores nearby. Very kind personel ☺️

The location is excellent, particularly if you are visiting the gardens and villa on the peninsula. And we were allowed to park our car there overnight and until noon the next day so no need to re-park the car. The place is clean but shabby. The restaurant is only OK and the service was neither pleasant nor thorough. The desk clerk was efficient but not welcoming.

Location: not too far from the ferry terminal, convenient for supermarkets, other restaurants & buses. Buffet breakfast was great. Helpful & obliging staff but cool towards foreigners. Rubber/plastic mattress protectors lead to sweaty nights. The tile? factory opposite started noisy work at 7 on weekdays. Smiles, which go a long way to making you feel welcome, we’re seldom seen from the family.

Breakfast was fine. Jam to eat with freshly sliced bread would have been perfect! Breakfasrlt from 7.30 better for us.

Location in town is great. The breakfast good, with a range of choices. The staff are helpful and efficient. The coffee offered is badly in need of improvement.I gave up and made tea. The linens (towels mainly) need replacement as they are overly thin. The rooms are immaculately clean but the smell of bleach and detergents is rather overwhelming. Is there some way to moderate this?

Property is located at exceptionally good spot. Staff/owner is very kind. I stayed only one night. I believe during the summer it’s even more worth this money.

Location and cosy place Bathroom a little small

I traveled to Como for work and stayed in a room above Albergo restaurant, which were conveniently located, especially for my shoot at Villa Balbiano. The location is fantastic, close to venues like Balbiano, Balbianello, and Villa Monastero. It’s a family-run business with a decent breakfast, but the property could really benefit from a renovation. Our room was freezing with no heater, and it needed a fresh coat of paint as it felt a bit run-down. However, for work purposes, it served its purpose. With a renovation, this place could be amazing! Room was quite basic and run-down. Also freezing cold during September.
