Friendliest and most welcoming staff I’ve experienced at a hotel in a long while! They were very patient and helpful in arranging a transfer for me to and from the hotel. The front desk was also genuinely interested in seeing that I experienced what I wanted out of Como and provided suggestions on where to go, and when, given the ferry schedules. The driver, Ivo, indicated on my way in that they would also be happy to arrange other private experiences in and around Como which sounded amazing, but I didn’t have time for it. Breakfast every morning was delicious with plenty of eggs and fresh coffee to fuel my adventures in Como. The AC was cold and quiet and helped me get a great night’s sleep each night. Would definitely stay here again! The room is a bit small! But still adequate.

The review says its 5 min from the water- which technically it is - except no one mentions that the ferry port is a 30 min walk to the street leading to the hotel- uphill 4 blocks . We had a 3 person room - so they put us in an “Apartment “. . 2rooms for 2 people- beds clean and soft. No kitchen- no sink , a dormitory fridge, No wine opener, no glasses, one mirror in the bathroom only. Very $$$ for the amenities . Also, it would’ve been helpful to know before booking here that there are no taxis in Lake Como area, the bus runs only till 9 o’clock and comes when it wants to, rarely on time. The ferries also stopped at 9 PM, so technically going out to dinner around 8 o’clock is impossible unless you’re going to walk back to the hotel..

If walking from your destination to the hotel, it is a bit of a trek to get up the hill the hotel sits on. I would also not recommend following your map’s walking directions, as it takes you through back alley with no street lights. I’d recommend walking the same road you drove on, as there is little thru traffic. Last thing, the water pressure in the shower is very light. It took a like 3-5 minutes just to completely rinse the soap out of my hair.

Luca was amazing and kind. The concierge was so awesome. He went out of his way to give me a ride to the next place I was going to stay !!

The location is far, but if you are able to drive in the area, it is a perfect location. We had to take a taxi, which was pricy. The property was clean and peaceful. The staff, from the cook Maximo to everyone else, Roberta, Valter, and Luca, were all a delight to deal with. Nothing the proerty was great!

A perfect gem! Clean, comfortable rooms with amazing staff. Great location. It’s a bit far to walk to anything, it’s better to have a car.
-
Great view from the windows and balcony. Quiet room and neighborhood. Easy to access ferry and free parking 10 minutes to walk down the road to the lake and then you should do the same in the opposite direction ? But if you want, you can park your car close to the main road and make the return easier

Luca the hotel concierge was a charm and so sweet. Everything you need, he finds a way matter what it takes to make it happen. Nothing. Value is great for the location and only thing I wish they had was an iron or steamer.

The place is very clean, however the size of bathroom is too small.. the room is also small, but accetable...the tv set was impossible to watch..the place was close by 10 pm If you getting back later, the elevator was not working..very inconvenient.

The staff, the breakfast and the view from our room was incredible! The government closed the pool because it was too cold (not the villa’s fault), but maybe install a heater for the pool. We were really wanting to swim in the pool as part of the reason we booked there.

The property is in a fantastic location. It is quiet, serene and just absolutely gorgeous. There are a few options close by for food and drink. The nature walk is also very close by which makes a lot of things accessible. This property is definitely for relaxation and leisure. We celebrated our engagement here, so our days were slow and relaxed and it was perfect for that. You should probably rent a car if you are traveling here. Luckily, we did not have an issue, but taxi service can be unreliable and expensive. If you want to travel to another area, you’ll need a car. The bus is available, but it is unreliable as a consistent transportation. Usually it is 2 hours between buses, so you’ll have to plan ahead. The roads are very narrow so renting a car can be a little scary if you’re not an Italian who is used to these roads.

The view was perfect and the staff was great

It was smoky and very old fashioned. We had a hard time getting answers out of the staff. They had a nice breakfast but no coffee bar area to grab coffee when you wanted. smelled smoky and a bit old fashioned style for my taste.
