I've been to this hotel for the fifth time and it's super comfortable, the staff is great and the location is excellent, however this time I got a room in the annex, another building across the street and the problem is that there is no reception there and it's not possible to get room service. The coffee machine in the room didn't work and they replaced it with a broken one, and since the reception is in another building, we had to get coffee and drinks across the street.

The rooms were very spacious. The location was within walking distance of the old town and the major sites. The employees were very friendly and helpful when we arrived early.

Central location, comfortable beds, Quiet (only when windows were closed). Friendly staff. Rooms were of an Impractical design for guests. Lighting was poor. Inconvenient entry to the rooms (had to use 3 different entry methods) and only a single key card was given, bad if there are 2 people who want to come and go individually. Reception and rooms were in separate buildings a block away and you walk with luggage on crowded streets to get to the rooms. Steps in the hallway to the rooms were dangerous, almost tripped several times.

Everything was great. The room was huge , very nice and great value. Staff were lovely also. The only small thing to be aware of is the traffic outside in the early morning, but that is going to be the same for any hotel in Trieste city center

Fascinating property within walking distance of all major sites in Trieste. Warm, elegant decor with intricate patterns and vintage pieces. Clean, tastefully decorated rooms. The welcome drink was highly appreciated and the complementary minibar with water and soft drinks added a nice touch.

Very lovely place, clean spacious andwe loved the ambience. Bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was in the the reception building which was not a big trouble it's more that it was raining and we were a bit lazy.
