French garden Pragash Beach Hotel

Amazing location! Quiet and chill. Superb small place - all brand new renovated. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe and looked after - owners are great! Thanks Purushoth!

The reception staff and breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. Beach was right in front of the room door! Stray dogs were roaming around the property and beach areas which is a problem in the whole country. Though the dogs may be friendly, having them around is a problem as stray dogs are not trained and therefore could be unpredictable.

The location is excellent, right on the beach. Breakfast and food are good. The rooms are a bit old and neglected, although still clean, and the bed is comfortable. The curtains are not blackout, so a lot of light comes in early in the morning.

When I arrived, it felt like a very touristry area with a sort of laid-back hippy or backpacker vibe. Not really my type of thing. However, the food and beers in the nearby snack bar Hawaii were great, and the room was right on the beach. I really enjoyed my stay after all!

Everything is perfect, our best accomodation. It was clean, the staff was helpful, there are plenty of restaurants around, you can order you cocktail to your terrace, there are boat trips, snorkeling and diving opportunities around. The room looks like on the images, you can open your eyes in the morning and see the sunrise from your bed.

It was beach front as advertised, really lovely and beautiful.

Amazing view of sunset and sunrise

It was a great experience. The beachfront location is stunning, and in the evening, the site becomes absolutely marvelous. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout my stay.

Great location with a sea view from bed, the beach is perfect for a swim, there are lounge chairs to chill under the umbrella and also hammocks, and the area is being cleaned everyday. Staff is very nice and helpful, the room was super nice and recently renovated, with AC, hot water, kettle, beach towels... The laundry service was good and fast. Lots of options near by for food (hotel restaurant was closed during our stay but opening soon). We can only recommend it!

The balcony was perfect place to sit and watch the waves roll in when there were brief showers - usually in the company of one or more of the local street dogs (which looked relatively healthy). The room was very comfortable; a ceiling fan would have been wonderful (room had air-con but our preference is not to sleep directly under an AC, so we left the door slightly open each night). Easy walking distance to eateries, or short tuk-tuk into the main town. Would have preferred a ceiling fan instead of air-con. Some pics on Booking.com were clearly taken a long time ago.

Lovely rooms opened onto the beach which was great because we experienced some unseasonable rainy weather. Very comfortable. Clean. Lovely helpful boys running the resort. The restaurant wasn't open as it was very early season but plenty of choices nearby. The only criticism is that washed-up rubbish is only cleared from the front of the hotel but left on other parts. I would hope this is improved gor the summer season.

Nice place, very quiet area. On the beach so you get that bungalow experience Be careful of the beach dogs, they're very needy and will headbutt you to pat them.

Location was great. Good value for money. Despite booking it with breakfast, they don't do it anymore. They reduced the price we paid. They did accept USD cash, as stated on booking.com but they are very particular about the notes they will accept. They have to be in pristine condition.

You step out of the door and you are directly at a beach. Walk 20-25 steps and you are touching sea waves. Wonderful place if you want to stay on the beach and want to do tourist activities whole day and just come back to the room to sleep. The room is very small - basically just a bed with extra 2 feet on each side. The bathroom was smelly and even turning on exhaust did not get rid of the smell completely.
