When we checked in around midnight, the employee at the front desk was rude and unwelcoming from the beginning. He then made it seem like my dog was suddenly an issue and said it was “their fault,” which I didn’t understand because I had already confirmed everything beforehand. From there, his attitude became increasingly hostile and combative. I couldn’t understand why I was being treated this way when I had made and paid for a reservation and followed the hotel’s instructions. He made me feel extremely uncomfortable with his aggressive energy and attitude. He eventually gave me an ultimatum: either take a two-queen-bed room or get my money back. Keep in mind, this was around 12 AM, after I had already traveled there and expected the room I reserved to be available. On top of that, the hot tub wasn’t working. When I spoke with the manager about the situation, I was told that the employee was “just the way he is.” That response was very disappointing. I understand that issues can happen, but the way this situation was handled was completely unacceptable. I expected basic professionalism, respect, and for the reservation I made to be honored. Instead, I was left feeling uncomfortable and frustrated after

Are go to hotel when we are in town! Great staff & nice comfortable rooms.
-
Horrible place, dirty rooms, unhelpful front desk and incompetent management! Booked a suite and good a double queen with no refund. Do not recommend

We were in the area to meet family for dinner. I asked if we could return to the hotel to gather after the dinner in their common areas. We ended up buying drinks at their bar and sitting in the courtyard, all 22 of us which extended our family time perfectly and sincerely appreciate them allowing us to do that. All of the staff were very kind and helpful! Would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in this area.

The staff was excellent and extremely helpful and nice :). The jets in the whirlpool weren't fully functional.

Room was clean and staff was very courteous and helpful.

Staff were very polite and considerate. I accidentally left something in room after leaving and staff were helpful in getting the item back to me

Huffy. Hh ghost. Hhhhh c

For the price of the room, it should have included breakfast. Also, seems rediculous to charge for parking as I suspect that probably close to 100% of your customers use that mode of transportation!
-
Parking should really be free for hotel guests. Charging guests to park at the hotel was disappointing and didn’t feel reasonable. Also, the bathroom had no ventilation at all, which was quite inconvenient.

I love this hotel I would most definitely recommend this hotel and I will definitely come back again

The hotel is nice and the staff is great but the hotel itself needs to be upgraded it very old fashion the cart to help with luggage and bags are so old and run down the elevator is scary the signs are old looking . And the breakfast is not free like all the other hotels I ever been to

Staff very friendly. Heads up about parking fee would have been nice, instead of charging customers to park why don’t you include that in your over all cost per night, that was the only disappointment and next time I’m in Troy I will find a motel with no parking fee

Very nice staff, like the courtyard, breakfast and gym

I was surprised by lack of teamwork. I had questions that I went to the front desk to get answered. The front desk sent me to the cafe. The lady at the cafe was extremely busy and had a line. The lady at the front desk was sitting talking with someone casually (not a work discussion, I could not see other person, so I assumed it was a FaceTime). I waited in line a few minutes before I went back to the front desk and asked if I was really supposed to wait there while the cafe lady cooked and cashed out all the orders ahead of me? All I needed was empty cups and a menu. I was not ordering anything. The cafe lady could have used her help to move the line along however it was clear there was a “not my job” mindset over a teamwork one. After I went back to her she came out from behind the counter and went to grab me what I needed, but she still didn’t help the other guests waiting. Everyone was very friendly, just not aware.
