Great location, right on the beach. Staff also treats you like family, it was a pleasure to meet them! The hotel has everything you need for every member of the family: food, bar, pool, and of course a beautiful beach with clear warm water.

I love that it was a smaller hotel and plenty of space and chairs at beach and pool. I never felt crowded The shower.

The property is located right in the water! The beach is great! The hotel itself is small but the staff is very accommodating and helpful! Breakfast was great and the overall experience was fantastic! There was nothing not to like! We wish we could stay there for longer!

Great spot set back quiet It’s a little far from downtown

The staff was amazing. They treated our family like family! They remembered our names and all 4 of our kids. They couldn’t do enough for us. We will definitely recommend our friends and family in the US to go to Zakynthos and stay at Al Mare! Everything was perfect!

The property is in an amazing beach location, around a 20 minute walk from the main centre but with lots of good restaurants within a 5 minute walk. If you walk towards the harbour and follow the road round there is a lovely beach there too. We stayed in a panoramic sea view room with stunning views of the harbour to the left and the beachfront to the right. The staff on the whole were very friendly. The bed was very comfortable, it was really clean and the daily maid service was perfect. The room had a good size fridge plus an iron and ironing board. There were lots of sun-beds and no saving of beds but the pool is open to non residents so it might be different in the height of the season. Pool towels were provided free of charge which was a nice touch The breakfast was very basic and the same every day. We chose to eat out on our last day for variety. The food was also not replenished if anything ran out. There were also lots of flies around and the majority of food wasn’t covered. The bathroom was dated with a shower over a corner bath and an awful shower curtain. That said, it was very clean and very functional. It could do with a refurbishment for next year. We didn’t get any sun our balcony after 10am which was disappointing.

The seafront location of this hotel is fantastic. You can watch the sunrise each morning from your balcony. There are lots of nice places to sit in the bar and lounge areas and plenty of sunbeds by the pool and seafront. Towels are supplied at reception for the pool which saves you having to pack one. No beds are ever reserved by guests, you can stroll down anytime of the day (in Sept) and get a bed. Those staying in the hotel dont pay but for external visitors its €15 per day for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella. Our double room was superb with a very comfortable bed and plenty of pillows/blankets, with a daily cleaning service if desired. AC provided at no extra charge. Half sized fridge. Good sized bathroom. Plenty of sockets. Large TV on wall to allow you connect to your netflix account. Huge balcony area with plenty of furniture, offering the most stunning views over the pool, seafront and harbour areas. The staff at the hotel, from your first arrival at reception to having food or a drink at the bar to the bedroom cleaning team, are all excellent. Special shout out to Yannis who couldnt do enough for us to make our stay more enjoyable, including keeping my husband company when i was unwell. The only criticisms are the breakfast buffet - very basic options and most items quite unappealing, especially considering the nightly B&B rate. I would stay at the hotel again but on a room only basis as you can buy a breakfast nearby for about €6 to €7 euro. Also the cost of drinks and food at the hotel are very high compared to everywhere else in Tsivili and the portion sizes are small for what you pay for. Finally, there are large bathrooms down slippy and sharp tiled steps into the basement of the hotel serving the pool area. The ladies and gents are unpleasant and dirty. Definitely room for improvement there.

Good location, room well equipped, exceptionally clean, bed very comfortable with choice of pillows, good quality toiletries, fresh pool towels provided daily as required, friendly helpful staff Buffet style breakfast. Although good choice of cereal, continental & cooked breakfast, the latter was generally luke warm and wasn’t replenished without asking. Food left uncovered throughout the session

What a special place, the location, the hotel and the staff. Exceeded our expectations. So close by for restaurants, entertainment and trips but with the bliss of a seafront position, family feel and little haven! Naturally as years go by preferences in the decor/facilities change. A very modern hotel with the exception of dated bathrooms (shower over bath with curtain) in all seafront rooms

Stayed here just for the one night. Beautiful location. Overpriced. Room outdated. Breakfast mediocre. Sunbeds cheap and uncomfortable. Bar expensive.

Great view, clean and large pool, good availability of sun beds, nice cosmetics, clean and lovely rooms, very tasty Greek dinners-the cook is absolutely brilliant! Staff members really helpful, especially Yannis,who is kind, tactful and very positive. We will definitely be back next year. Everything was great
