Beautiful property, friendly staff and some of the best food we ate in Tulum! The room and decor was beautiful, the yoga classes and instructor were lovely. Definitely recommend for romantic getaway or girls weekend retreat. It’s was very relaxing all around The massage wasn’t very good and was way over priced. Wish they would have more drinking water in the room. They just had a refillable liter size pitcher, we’d go through it quickly. But you could get free refills for it at the bar. Minor complaints

Beautiful property Basically in the middle of no where. Like literally no where… you will have a very hard time getting out because the “streets” are filled with giant potholes and when it rains…basically small size pools

Above all, the staff were amazing and helped us a lot with all our (many) questions and requests. Highly recommend this place for your next trip to Tulum!!

The property was beautiful and the drinks were delicious. The staff was very kind and helpful. They made my stay wonderful and really looked out for me. They made my birthday really special and I'm really thankful for them. Upon leaving they gave me a cute bracelet. They don't have a late-night menu. They bikes they had were very old. The rooms don't have TVs. You had to pay an additional fee for spa area access. The mini bar was expensive and the pretzels were stale. They have a 711 around the corner if you want a late-night snack. Also the food was kinda expensive and not as good as the other resorts I stayed at.

Rooms were quiet and private, with a small heated pool. The main pools were the perfect temperature, and the cold plunge and hot tub were amazing. Staff were great, and the whole place had just the right amount of luxury. The incense was a bit strong after a few days. It would have been nice to have both an indoor and outdoor shower. Mosquitos can be around, so bringing coils for the private pool area is a good idea. The music was mostly EDM, which just isn’t our thing.

    The most peaceful jungle oasis

  • Engine customer Mar 2025

The Room was large and beautiful with a private little pool and outdoor garden and shower. Breakfast was delicious and in a pretty spot. The restaurant staff was very kind. Music is lovely. The manager too. It is in the middle of nothing between town and the beach. Just dirt roads in very poor condition and empty lots around it. It is an oasis in the middle. Not good for walking anywhere. Pool needs cleaned more often if all the falling vegetation.

Roads around the hotel are not great so it was a bit inconvenient getting around.

It is a quiet, smallish hotel. Has its own restaurant and interesting shape pool ( not boring and rectangular!) Staff were amazing - absolutely nothing was too much trouble, very attentive. Other reviews mention the access road. Yes, it is in a state but taxi drivers are used to it so not a problem. We did walk out to local shops - took 8 minutes - slow walking. If you need a taxi they are called by the receptionist and they arrive within 5 minutes of asking. If you want a relaxing holiday this hotel is perfect if however you prefer a large, brash, busy hotel this is not for you! Plenty of sunbeds at all times of the day around the pool - no need to reserve! The hotel is surrounded by trees so, obviously they drop their leaves including the pool area but again they are being constantly cleared so not really an issue. We had a good size room with everything that you need ( no tv but who wants that on holiday!) Good size private garden and plunge pool - (size of pool approximately 4.5m x 1.5m) As mentioned above. It is walkable to a few shops but any further a taxi will be needed which are called for you by reception and arrive quickly Great choice of breakfast - juice, fruit, coffee and a main (choice of about 6 included) plus others if you are happy to pay a supplement. The hotel is surrounded by trees so, obviously they drop their leaves including the pool area but again they are being constantly cleared so not really an issue.

The people, the environment & the scenery was beautiful. The roads to get to hotel was horrible.

  • Engine customer Feb 2025

Impeccably clean and remarkably beautiful. The street the hotel is on is putrid. It rained a lot whilst we were there and the streets were flooded.

    Superb

The greeting we received from the Reception staff & security at Muaré was so warm and lovely. We felt at home straight away. We were given a tour around the grounds before being shown to our room, which was spotless & perfect. We definitely recommend! Breakfast was lovely. The only downside is the surrounding streets of this hotel aren't fantastic, some work to be done but don't think that's on the hotel! However it didn't take from the gorgeousness of the hotel

Hidden gem in the jungle not far from downtown and only a bit further to the beach. The staff are so kind and caring! The rooms are the most peaceful, and the personal pool/jacuzzi on the patio makes this standout!! The pool area was fabulous and such a great design. Not too busy which we hoped for in Tulum. The drinks and the cappuccinos in the morning were so delicious. Please try Muarè on your next trip to Tulum! It was a spa like peaceful resort. Roads in for about 1-2 blocks were bumpy. Literally that is the only thing.

Excellent hotel. High quality of food and drinks. Nice and helpful staff. Tip: ask the reception to heat the pool, and don't worry, it takes one day to be heated in some cases like the one I had. Thanks to Brian which was helpful and kind during the stay One remark for not giving the 10. I think the hotel wants to reduce the costs. The pool should be cleaned every day and heated always.

Ambience Road to hotel is pretty rustic with huge craters and mud. Can’t be walked

Beautifully presented property with amazing pool area. The staff were exceptional! Super attentive service and helped coordinate activities and transport throughout our stay via WhatsApp, with incredible responsiveness. We loved the morning yoga which was included in the stay and the breakfast menu options. Loved that there was also a jacuzzi and ice bath within the wellness area. You aren’t able to walk anywhere from the hotel and taxis are super expensive in Tulum. The steam room didn’t seem to work very well.
