Piazza Castello Suite

The kitchennet is small and not ment for lots of cooking.

Fabulous location. Right on the piazza. Room was large with large bathroom. Little kitchenette. Simple but stylish in a pared down way-surprise remains of original Rococo ceiling decoration. If your phone does not work it is very difficult to check in. Very frustrating and the staff was not very helpful.

Absolutely fantastic location right on the Piazza Castello. You’re at the center of Torino. Many museum are less than 5-10 minute walk and you’re right at the end of Via Garibaldi. Watching the night lite on the Piazza day and night is was also enjoyable I had trouble getting in touch with the front desk because of the hour i arrived. The entrance is on the second floor and you need to be buzzed in and get the elevator enabled. After that, everything was wonderful. The receptionist was fantasticly helpful during my two day stay.

Location is great, Very difficult to find, no signs, hard to access, no one on site, Air conditioning not working.

Facing the piazza meant that the room was a bit noisy.

No staff available in front desk even during regular hours. So check-in and luggage storage can be complicated.

The location was the only likable thing about this trash heap I had to call them to even be met in where I was greeted by a rather rude individual who had to guide me in from a remote location. Upon entry, it smelled like a filthy place that a halfhearted attempt at using a cheap room deodorizer to mask it. As soon as we walked in, I got chills. The place was what nightmares are made of. It was nothing more than a hostel galley advertised as a hotel. We immediately left and checked into the Hilton. This place needs to be taken off Booking.com. It’s sullying the entire reputation of the site

Location, location, location! No heat. They use split units on the wall that are too small for the size room, therefore, the room was ice cold. The wall baseboards don't work, the hotel towel bar doesn't work, the room flooring is concrete so we had no recourse but to freeze. No staff on hand and the ones we spoke to changed us to a different room with the same problem so we chose to stay in our room freezing. We couldn't sleep and ended returning home with a cold.

Great location. Nice to have a kitchenette. Step down into the suite from front door and steps up to kitchenette and bathroom could be a problem for some people. The suite is described as having a balcony but it is a ‘Juliette balcony’ with a window that reaches the floor and a barrier in front of the window.

Ideally situated on Piazza Castello, very close to the important sites of the city

Location WiFi did not work at all during the 2 days even when I informed the lady on the check in

The location is the biggest plus in the stay, above one of the larger courtyards by the palace complex. It is more than amazing--a sweeping view of a beautiful urban space, with balconies even. The room was enormous and well-appointed. Very interesting finishes--this is not a typical hotel, it is a product of a few creatives giving personal touches. There is a nice modern bathroom too and a tiny kitchen. The checkin could have been a little smoother. This is not a conventional hotel with staff at a desk all day long. The instructions on how to get into the building were next to the door downstairs, but they were in Italian, which I don't speak, causing a bit of a minor panic. I did get in though, and all was well.

Fantastic location! Excellent breakfast arrangement - don’t miss going there in the morning. Go to the Egyptian museum. We were there the first week in July - very hot and the air conditioning was less than optimal.

Everything! Gorgeous huge flat overlooking the piazza. Parking is close by. The interior was beautiful with high ceilings and very well equipped. I would stay here over and over! Great location to everything. Luggage storage after check-out offered. A little confusing on access. Directions were not included in the booking. We called and were directed to get into the unit.

Giulia at the front desk, when she was there, was fantastic This is a potentially spectacular place that is being run by people who have swallowed the idea that people want sterile rooms run by technological gimmickry when they travel. They think they are being clever by automating and depersonalizing everything through often cumbersome and at times faulty technology. In so doing they announce they are not in the hospitality business, but the money collecting business. The architecture of the obviously newly rooms in this otherwise gorgeous historical building mirrors this technocratic outlook. They are cold and austere, but with all the "right" gadgetry such as bedside light that are so slick its hard to figure out how to turn them on or off. There is also the matter of of the sole access to the place through an elevator with a built-in security system that often does not work, which means that if you come back to the place after the wonderful front desk person goes home (8pm) you are out of luck and need to call someone remotely to let you in. The location could not be better and the historic building in which the place is housed could not be more sumptuous. But rather than build something inside that complements thses things they decided to go futuristic for obvious financial reasons. i hope they consider a re-design in the not-too-distant future.
