The Bali Shanti

Loved the pool, the vibe, the room! Everything was gorgeous and very relaxing. I also had the best massage ever there after a long day. The daily breakfast delivered to your terrace was also an excellent touch

The property was beautiful and backed up to the forest so it was very quiet even in the city center. The only thing I would say is the bathroom layout is a bit strange. The tub to shower in is very high and could be difficult to get in and out of for some people.

Very quiet and tranquil on the property. Large clean spacious suite. Large outdoor area to ourselves. Loved waking up and having coffee on the patio and listening to the birds. Would definitely stay here again.

Great value for money!

It was a very nice place, the bathrooms were all indoors and the doors locked, and I was provided with towels and waters and breakfast. The staff were also amazing. I was new to traveling solo and they helped by providing rides to places and suggestions of things to do. It was also close to everything. I could walk to Ubud palace and various shops and restaurants no problem. Nothing, it was all good!

Spiritual tranquility there

The place is calm, clean, and surrounded by nature — perfect for relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was comfortable and beautifully designed in Balinese style. The pool area was a peaceful spot to unwind after exploring Ubud. Everything was good and i can recommend it.

I didnt like that were a lot of ants on the terace.

The hotel was lovely and the staff incredible!! They were so kind and always cleaning. They left a ‘happy anniversary’ on our bed as my birthday is coming up which was lovely! Thank you for our stay :) Although, on our first night there was an army infestation of ants in our room and a massive cockroach! We bought some insect killer the next day and we didn’t have a problem since but it gave us quite a fright on our first night! Then, breakfast was okay but not very many options - just 2 eggs or a pancake but it did the job and that’s what counts.

Exactly as advertised. Super peaceful and relaxing environment in amongst all the nature around it. Beautiful views right outside the rooms. Miss being there. Hope to come back. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was served to us when we got up out if bed every morning.

Beautiful property close to the Main Street of Ubud but far enough so you don’t hear any noise. Our villa #1 was away from the other villas so it was very private. Loved the outdoor living area and the room was nice and cool and quiet for sleeping! The breakfast was pre-ordered the day and it was delivered to our villa in the morning. the food was delicious. The pool area could be improved. The water seemed a bit cloudy, the shower area floor has black moss, the outdoor kitchen area could be cleaned up and improved. Laundry service not offered.

The Bali Shanti is a spotless clean, peaceful oasis very close to the Ubud centre. The personal is attentive and always ready to help. The suite encompasses spotless bathroom, spaceous bedroom with large, very comfortable bed and kitchen with little gazebo overhanging the jungle, creating a little oasis, where all the rush and traffic of Ubud street doesn't reach. There is also a pool shared between just 4 rooms, so I have hardly seen other people there. If I have an other opportunity, I'll be back. Having to leave
