Lovely hotel very clean … the reception staff was lovely very helpful and could not do enough, the bar man however was the rudest person I have ever met!! Terrible service very confrontational where I felt intimated…. Sadly I won’t be returning

Since the check-in we loved every minute of our stay. The staff was extremely professional and kind. The free shuttle available on request is a wonderful add which we didn't even need since the hotel is less than 10 minutes away from the most amazing beach. One day we walked to Vilamoura, it took us about 1 hour and it was amazing, so if you don't mind long walks along the beach we'd highly recommend it. The pool is fantastic, the room was sparkling clean, the whole building looks incredible, the neighborhood is super quiet, there's a free shuttle and you can request beach towels at any time. We were already very very happy with our stay but what really exceeded our expectations was the surprise birthday cake and sparkling wine we found when we got back to our room on the day of my birthday. We didn't even mention this in our booking or during the check-in so the fact that they noticed and arranged all that created a wonderful memory. Thank you so much to the staff of the Ria Park for one of the best holidays we ever had. Honestly nothing. If I really had to pick something since the breakfast was absolutely fantastic I guess the restaurant could have been better. The food was still really nice, just not incredible. Honestly not a problem since we wanted to explore the area anyway and the food in Portugal is amazing!

Ultra clean Wonderful warm friendly chatty relaxed patient staff Full of light and space in communal areas Pianist in bar every night No loud music by pool Simple systems for everything ( eg beach towels) Layout and size of hotel made it easy to get around Rooms were beautifully calm and peaceful and I think sound proofed with small balcony ( I had one overlooking the street and lots of palm trees) Luxurious bedding Twice daily maid service Once I had drunk my complementary water in my room ( one litre plus three small bottles in fridge ) it was not replenished and there were no water dispensers in hotel. The hotel is a 15 -20 minute walk away from a shop. I tend to drink 2litres a day. Gym opens at 9am but would have preferred to get in at 8am, then eat breakfast. Pool the same.

Food, staff, hotel itself. The pools. Some facilities were a bit outdated (airco and hair dryer). The price is too high for the overall experience

The breakfast choice was first class ,the only item was the hot selection was not always hot it just needed the heat to turned up under the food containers.Apart from that everything was excellent so its only a suggestion. Stayed a few times at the Rio Park good to see so many of the staff still there after so many years.

Lovely breakfast and staff very helpful, we are in our seventies and we love a pot of tea first thing in morning not just a cup you have to make yourself .So young girl went into kitchen and brought us a try with 2 pots of piping hot tea to the table which we really enjoyed . Towels lovely and soft and big also white robe and slippers Think they need to bring back the practice of serving you your tea or coffee to your table at breakfast Years ago they always did
