The property had everything we needed, very hand to be close to shops and the bus stop to get around Valencia. I didn’t think the air conditioning worked very well but it was adequate

The receptionist working day shift was nice all three stars must have been awarded for the location. I have never come across a hotel that manages to make so many mistakes at once. Hotel ILUNION Aqua 3 is supposed to be a 3-star hotel, but after my stay I am left with the feeling that the stars are really an assessment of how many meters it is to the shopping mall. The room smells of damp damage, the air conditioning works so-so – well, it exists, and that is probably the most important thing. The curtains have holes and look like they have collected dust since the hotel opened. The bathroom also does not look like it has seen a renovation since opening. Several things are loose and poorly attached, as if the hotel is testing how much the guest can actually tolerate before something falls. Refrigerator in the room? No, that would have been far too luxurious. After all, it is only a 3-star hotel. The elevator deserves its own chapter. If you are short on time, I recommend taking the stairs – even if you have to go to a high floor. The elevator takes about the time it normally takes to reconsider your entire hotel booking. And the soundproofing? Fantastic… if your goal is to be up to date on everything that’s going on in the hallway. There’s a gap of about four centimetres under the door, so you can hear every person who walks by, as well as every door that opens and closes. It almost feels like living in the reception area. Perhaps most impressive is that I’ve stayed in several 2-star hotels in Asia that deliver several levels above this – both in terms of standard, maintenance and comfort. If the hotel wants to keep its three stars, I suggest they consider moving two of them from the location and into the hotel itself. The positive? The location is actually very good. So there we have it: 3 stars – one for every metre closer to the shopping centre.

I liked that this is part of ONCE, a charity for disabled people. Also it is close to the Oceanogràfic, the science museum and shopping centre The hotel rooms require refurbishing with AC and drains requiring mayor work. We were a big group and we all had these issues in our rooms.

The room was very comfortable, super clean, ac and WiFi worked perfectly. The staff were friendly, helpful and very welcoming. The location is great, so much to do and at walking distance. The only thing was the bathroom door, that didn’t give enough privacy while you were in there.

It's location was fantastic. There were a lot of amenities such as shops and places to eat within the building. The room was clean and the temperature was perfect. The bed was so comfortable. There were no facilities for tea or coffee in the room's. The frosted glass sliding door on the bathroom reduced privacy within the room.
