AC Hotel Vancouver Waterfront

This place was very nice, clean room and walkable to shops, restaurants and bars. Great location.

I reserved my stay through Orbitz. It was pretty fast and convenient as usual. Check in and check out was very fast. The room and view were amazing. My kids loved it too. The only thing which made me a little bit sad, there was no pool in this hotel. Other than that everything was very good. Especially the sandwiches which my husband ordered in their kitchen. It was the most delicious sandwiches with fish on top of it, I have ever had in my life. I wish we could stay more in that room, but unfortunately they were booked for next couple of days. So we had to check out. Hope to visit some day again.

Great location and property. Pleasantly surprised.

I’ll start with the bad and then highlight the good. First off, we get to the room and there was hair on the pillows and stuff on the comforter/sheets and toe nails or finger nails clippings on the floor in the bathroom and the toilet seat is not very secure so it moves around. I would have tighten it if had tools in the vehicle. There is construction going on the pier and you can hear it from the room. They start early. If you are a light sleeper do not stay there because the airport is close by and the you can hear the planes taking off one after another until midnight. Then again at 0400 in the morning. The parking is spendy for overnight at 35.00 a night but that’s every city hotel. Lastly the Ondos Resturaunt very basic for the price. For the positives the property is pretty nice. The rooms were nice minus the things I have already highlighted in the upper areas. They have an outside area on the 4th floor that is very nice to sit and look at the water and sunset while also just relaxing. The smell of lavender on their roof top garden ads to the relaxation. The area seemed more safe then the Portland hotels because the area had little to no homeless people around it. Lastly, the staff there are very kind and approachable, the two house keepers that came up to clean the room were very quick to respond and very nice! One female and one mail with a Miami heat lanyard. So we would like to highlight staff is great. Probably will not be staying again just because the airport.

Upon arriving at the hotel we were greeted by a helpful staff member who promptly got us checked in. Our request was fulfilled with a view of the river. The Vancover waterfront was a pleasant place to take our morning walks and it was very clean. Please note, because this property is near the airport, you will hear jets arriving and taking off. The food and the drinks were great while we sat at the bar and watched the world cup games. Everyone was friendly and the entire property was clean and safe.

The location Bought a beer at their convenience shop and went to the bar to join my friends and was told I wasn’t allowed to drink it there AND I was staying there for several nights

Very impressed with this hotel, the staff are super friendly and helpful, the grounds are beautiful, and the room was very nice and clean.

The website image of the room is way nicer than the actual rooms. The bathroom door of the room doesn’t close and give privacy in the bathroom. The sink was really shallow and made it splash everywhere and it was all wet because there is not a fan just a constant fan on.

. Almost slid. No drawers. Hydration station inconveniently located. Doubt if will rebook. Shower curtain so short that floor got all wet. Controls on shower very bad. NOT A GUEST FRIENDLY or SAFE HOTEL.
