View was excellent, and we enjoyed having a large patio. It would be useful to let people know about the night bus that takes tourists up the hill from town for free, and the walking paths down to Varenna. The apartment had an unpleasant smell at first, and the furniture needed updating, including the beds, the couch, and the patio furniture.

The view A very disappointing stay. The apartment was dirty with areas covered in dust, there were stains on the bed and the sofa that meant a sheet had to be used to sit on them. There was no hot water when we arrived and the boiler was erroring and so half our stay we had no hot water. The carbon monoxide alarm was beeping which could be heard throughout the apartment. Lack of cooking facilities. There is one fan which was broken and so didnt work at all and so the apartment was too hot. The paint was peeling off the walls and cracked floor tiles making it dangerous. Would avoid staying here

Perfect view of mountains, if you want to spend time at your stay then this is one of the best locations. Only problem in Varenna is finding a taxi, try to book the taxi as per your plan of travel.
