Friendly couple. Easy walk to ferry. Motion detector lighting in the bathroom was too bright at night.

The air conditioning kept us cool and. comfortable during the heatwave. The staff is very kind and hospitable. They think of special ways to keep their guests happy and comfortable! Breakfast is set up outside where you can see the beautiful views. The location is perfect if arriving by bus or train and walkable to everywhere. Nothing.

Renata provided a delicious breakfast each morning included in the cost of the room. She had essential toiletries, complimentary fruit basket and a fully stocked small fridge with drinks at no extra charge. Renata and her husband Antonio are gracious hosts, Barbara & Kelly Hume

I have never met a better host than Renata. Excellent location and breakfast but Renata made me feel better than home.

The location was close to the train station and walkable everywhere. Our host Renatta was very sweet and accommodating. Breakfast was good especially the fresh sliced bowls of fruit and coffee. Snacks in the room along with bottled waters was a nice touch. Grazie

The location was fabulous, only a couple of minutes from the train and the ferry. The room was very comfortable. Renata was so welcoming and offered a delicious breakfast.

Amazing accommodations hosted by a truly wonderful couple. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcomed and cared for. Although the breakfast may not have been elaborate, it was homemade and thoughtfully prepared—the host even woke up early to make sure everything was ready for us. Their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality really stood out. You can tell they take pride in creating a warm and comfortable experience for their guests. Overall, it was a memorable stay, and we would absolutely choose to stay with them again. Honestly, the only downside was that we didn’t stay long enough. We were only there for one night due to our own schedule, and we truly wish we had booked a longer visit to enjoy more time at this lovely place.

Ideally located just a short walk from the train station—and even closer to the lake’s most beautiful spots—the property itself was quaint, charming, and impeccably clean, making it perfectly suited to all of our needs. Our hostess was friendly and accommodating, the breakfast spread was both amazing and delicious, and the outdoor cats were a delightful bonus. Only that we didn’t get to stay longer

Everything was great, the host was very welcoming, the room was cozy. A very nice breakfast.

Perfect location walking distance from the train station and right on the lake. Varenna is a dream and Renata's B&B was the perfect place to experience it from. Fresh cut fruit for breakfast, yogurt, pastries, it was all excellent!
