B&B Fortuny

There were mosquitoes and bugs all over apartment. Several bug repellent plug-ins. Owner acknowledged the problem and blamed on previous tenant.

hidden away from crowds Very nice and affordable. Perfect for a solo traveler. The room was extremely comfortable and very nicely decorated. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was pleasant. The location is away from crowds tucked away in a quiet alley. If you don't mind walking and having the experience of taking the water taxi across, then this is a perfect place to try it. All was great!

Andreas was a wonderful host! Andreas was welcoming, helpful when answering questions, and gave great recommendations. The facilities were exceptionally clean. The location is great and a short walk from the San Angelo stop. Nothing- no complaints.

We loved staying here! It was so central, less than 10 minute walk from St Mark’s Square. The facilities were so clean, had AC, and comfy beds! He had a blow dryer and straightener too which was SO helpful! The neighbor is beautiful too, right by the water taxi and St Marks, but it’s away from the crowds which keeps it relaxing and quiet. Andreas was also a great host! I wish we had more time to visit with him.

Andrea is friendly and helpful. Location is close to St.Angelo station, walkable distance to San Marco square.

Everything. It is a place full of local details and exceptional service. The room is very comfortable and you are pampered with tea, coffee and small cookies inside the room. You also have a small safe inside and hair dryer. In the bathroom you have complementary toothbrush, toothpaste and vanity kits in case you need them. Everything is clean and of excellent quality. The owner is super kind and incredible helpful with all the questions that you may have as a tourist (and I had a LOT) and with the best attitude in the world. ??

It was the first time me and my sister went to Venice. We booked the canal view room at B&B Fortuny. It was very clean and comfortable. The host Andrea was very helpful. The breakfast had everything one would need. We had a lovely, pleasant stay and would be back, if we had the opportunity. None

Very tasty breakfast and comfortable bed! All you need to rest after a long day of walking around Venice ? Excellent location. Mr Andrea is very kind and taking good care of his guets. Grazie mille It was a bit chilly in the room, but the thick duvets keep you warm (and you can also find an extra blanket in the closet).

Size, location, facilities, host. The fold out bed needs to be replaced. Very uncomfortable and noisy when you move around.

Cleanliness Breakfast Location The room was a bit too cluttered. Should have had more free surfaces areas for guests’ stuff. No need for pot pourri and incense everywhere. No towels on the bed. Too many toiletries in bathroom.

The location is ideal, close to everything. It's easy to arrive by "Vaporto" and it's easy to go out and travel in all areas. It's obvious that Andrea, the owner, cares for the place with great love. He welcomed us very nicely, gave us a map of the city and explained everything we needed. The room and the whole place are sparkling clean - very pleasant and it's obvious that Andrea Think of all the little details. ---

Location, From the train station St Lucia, Take the ferry #1 to St Angelo and B&B Fortuny is very close at waking distance , Pack small LOL Stairs

The apartment is in a great location, with easy access to the train station and airport. Close enough to all Venice has to offer but away from all the people. It is very clean and has everything you need. There was cleaning service throughout our stay, which was a plus. Check-in was a breeze. I would recommend staying here if you are in Venice. Nothing, best stay we had during our travels in Italy.

Clean room. Had a view of a side canal and bridge. No common space…just a room. Staff were nonexistent. No one came in during breakfast, just self-serve.

Location excellent, very central and easy to reach, breakfast great , the host very friendly and helpful Facilities in the bathroom poor, no sleepers

We are vegetarians but the buffet selection was enough for us. Nice start to each morning. Would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room to keep drinks and perishables cool.
