Hotel Caprera

It's a basic hotel but clean and reasonbly spacious. The bed is comfortable and air-cond is working well. That's all what we needed staying for 2 nights in Venice as we were out walking about most of the time. Ask for lower floor if you are struggling with climbing the steps, it's manageable for us being on the 3rd floor with smaller suitcases.

Perfact location. Staff is excellent and all offered services are good.

Location was central to the train station and to restaurants and shopping.

The location was excellent and I was very satisfied. It was very close to the train station, water bus, and the city center, so getting everywhere was very easy. The reception staff were very kind and welcoming. The room was clean and practical, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. I stayed on the first floor, which was very convenient. The only downside was that there was no refrigerator in the room and no complimentary water provided.

Perfect location, close to Train station and Grand Canal. Friendly owner and stuff, and his dos so lovely !! Bathroom, no shower curtain.

The staff was wonderful and very helpful. I loved the gift flag they gave us at check out. Breakfast was great! The room for three was much smaller than the picture and the price was more than we expected. We thought that breakfast was included per the website, but we had to pay extra. Our son got 36 mosquito bites that became infected, which put a damper on the rest of his trip. We didn't realize that there was a plug in mosquito zapper on the desk in the room. It would have been nice if we had been informed about it during check in, as there are no screens on the windows.

The hotel is in a great location — very central, yet quiet and peaceful. The staff were kind, polite, and always helpful, and the cleanliness was very good. The only small downside was that the bed comfort could be improved.

Good price for how close it is to the station and lot shops and good cafes close by. I have to climb the stairs lol ?

The location was great as it’s off the street so it’s not noisy and is just down the street from the train station and not stairs were required which made moving our luggage easy. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. Our room even had a nice little balcony and a cute view from the bathroom window which were a pleasant surprise. Our only complaint was that the pillows were very flat and uncomfortable. Otherwise perfect stay here, highly recommend!

The owners who also managed the place were extremely friendly and helpful from helping with luggage, directions and recommending the best restaurants in town where the locals go. No elevators

Front desk staff were amazing. They greeted me warmly and brought my big luggage to the third floor where my room was. I asked for local non-touristy bar/cafes and liked their suggestions Nothing

It was really close the the Venice train station. Nothing.

Location is excellent! Simple clean room with shower room. We was able to store our luggage after check in to continue our noon tours in Venice.
