Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay at this historic hotel. We really liked that our bedroom had both a king sized bed and two twin beds four our teen daughters with plenty of space. The hotel helped us arrange for porters to help with moving luggage accords the many bridges with stairs in Venice.

The breakfast was good. Nice selections.

I liked the location. It was centrally located as many other viewers had said. There were front desk staff available 24 hours which was helpful because we had a late check in. In addition, EVERYONE at the desk and the gentleman working g the breakfast were supper kind and helpful. It was a bonus that they were able to arrange our taxi transport from the train station and to the airport. Nothing noted

The property is well cared for, clean and organized. There is an organic produce stand a few doors down and the hotel serves a full breakfast every morning. It’s charming and quaint in a tasteful way. The staff helped me get to know the WaterBus system which is essential for getting around Venice efficiently. Staff also helped me research and schedule a train ride to Padua. So kind and helpful! Nothing displeased me.

Nice location, though not on the main canal it was still accessible and close to several places we visited. Our gondolier even pointed it out by name on our tour as the most historic hotel! The staff was wildly kind and helpful. We were only in one night but I'm sure we would have enjoyed staying longer.

Charming hotel in great location and the staff was so friendly and helpful!!

The distance from the train station was a bit far by boat Ferry on line one The distance to the central areas of Venice was a bit of a long walk. The room, especially the bathroom was very small. You could barely fit your feet under the sink when you had to go to the bathroom.

The hotel was located in a quieter, less crowded part of Venice located only a 15 minutes or so walk from the main train station (Venezia San Lucia). The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and quaint. Staff was kind, helpful, and communicative in assisting with getting directions to the hotel and setting up a taxi (car) from the hotel to the airport for our early morning flight. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the front of the hotel/canal (see picture). While we didn't use it, there was a large common room outside our room (see picture). Lastly, we opted to not pay for the breakfast and instead ventured out to find scones and cappuccinos in Venice.

The best thing about the hotel is that it was quite and the outdoor garden sitting area was a nice place to get away from the crowds of Venice. Good hotel in general but not spectacular. Breakfast was a disappointment. We found Venice to be a disappointment in overall (which is not the hotel's fault). Venice is just a tourist trap in my opinion.

The room and staff were very nice. We were out as much as possible during the day and when we returned at the most random hours there was always a friendly person at the reception to return our keys quickly. The room itself was simple but had everything we needed. Some of the storage shelves were hanging loose, a bit of maintenance on the small things couldn't hurt.

Location, restaurants around the corner, close to port, easy to catch a water taxi to the airport

Very comfortable hotel in a great location. Staff very helpful and attentive

Quiet, comfortable rooms in a nice neighborhood. Good facilities, and enjoyed the breakfast. Staff was very friendly, helpful answering our various questions. Food in the nearby piazzas was quite good. Also enjoyed the 3rd floor lounge - bright and airy - when checking on local restaurants and directions to meeting places. Really cool hotel.

We notified the hotel multiple times that we needed to cancel the first night because our flight was canceled and we were forced to arrive a day late. They refused to credit us for the night we couldn’t be there. This is not a good policy. Breakfast was not very good. The hotel has no elevator beyond the 2nd floor and we were on the 3rd floor so had to lug our luggage up several flights of stairs. The bathroom situation was not good. Had to duck under slanted ceiling to get in shower while stepping over a high tub with nothing to hold on to. Water sprays on floor making exiting the shower more difficult than getting in.

Excellent location, easy to get in and out, rooms are beautiful.

Beautiful property located in a quiet neighborhood away from all the crowds. Comfortable bed and showers. The pillows were quite small and difficult to sleep on.
