Hotel San Gallo

GREAT location- walkable to all main sites. AIR CON included and worked very well! Staff was very polite and the room was great for a single room. Toiletries were provided and all the small touches were great (treats provided upon arrival, some free water and other mini-bar options in room). There was a fridge and armoire in the room, as well as a small table. A great room for several days in Venice. Only downside is the long flight of stairs just to enter the hotel- but after that my particular room didn't have too many additional stairs. Breakfast was at an additional fee, so I didn't try it. Walls did seem thin, and I could hear my neighbors when they got back. Not a rowdy hotel though. Nothing really went wrong this stay!

I loved this hotel! The staff were so friendly and very informative, answering all of my questions and giving me great recommendations for activities and restaurants. The room was beautiful and I loved all of the small details. It made my stay feel very special and I would love to come back again! The area is also so central to everywhere. I was within walking distance to everything. I highly recommend this charming place!

Hotel is more like a house that was converted into hotel rooms. The layout is a little off but not an issue. I felt like I had my own mini apartment in Venice. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. There was a little welcome kit with snacks, a drink, and a personalized note. The staff was very responsible and helpful. The bathroom was sufficiently fitted but small. Not a highlight. They did add nice toiletries that I would not expect for a hotel like this.

It is a beautiful and cozy hotel with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff is very helpful, and the location is excellent. We arrived by vaporetto from the airport, and it was just a quick 5-minute walk, conveniently close to St. Mark’s Square. It wasn’t an issue for us, but it’s worth noting that the hotel is located on the second floor and does not have an elevator, which may be a consideration for guests who have difficulty walking up stairs or may need elevator access.

Hotel is very convenient from the main square. Come off the water taxi and its off one of the side streets of the main square. Very easy to find. 5 minute walk. the room was very cozy and they left sweets as a welcome gift. the room is super cozy and the bathroom had the best shower and water pressure. Venice is a small city so no lack of places to eat and shop and all were super close to the hotel. This place is very clean and the front desk was very helpful and had great restaurant suggestions. nothing - this place is great
