Breakfast and staff were perfect. I typically don’t get breakfast but I did here and very satisfied. They even made me American eggs! I have no complaints.

The location is excellent - quiet, convenient to ferries and near some tourist and more local places.. and the staff were lovely. Kind, helpful... and the things. I expected a basic room as I was getting a single and it was an affordable option and there were some nice traditional elements / style to the hotel and room. The breakfast was simple but had some good options to fuel you up before your adventures. The bedding and pillows need an upgrade. The pillows were flat pancakes. A simple upgrade would be extremely valuable and improve the stay. I asked for an additional and that helped a tiny bit but honestly, replacements are required. The 8am start to breakfast was challenging as it was very hot and we were trying to get out an explore the city before the heat started.. but the 8am start was limiting. I think allowing a 7am start during summer would be smart.

The Breakfast was the best we had ever had. The location was perfect. The staff were extremely helpful they need insect screens on all of the window. The bathroom were very small and the shower floor was slippery

The staff are superb, breakfast outstanding and location as good as it gets! The hotel is beautifully restored and the little special touches are much appreciated. They show a love and respect of historical values and it feels wonderful. Thank you ? to staff ?

It was a wonderful place to stay. The location was convenient, the staff was very courteous and helpful, and it was very clean. We would highly recommend this hotel as a great place to stay in Venice! We enjoyed it all.

I loved the atmosphere at Pensione Seguso! The rooms are decorated with furniture that goes with the age of the hotel as well as represented Venice so well. The owner and staff are very polite and helpful. I highly recommend Pensione Seguso. The location was perfect to reach anywhere in Venice as there is a water taxi stop close to the hotel. There aren't any negatives that I could report.

It was such a quick walk from the water bus, which I loved! The breakfast was great, and the room was very nice. There was also an elevator which was really helpful, and they kept my luggage while I explored

We loved our room, the decor, the location!

Our canal views from our windows were incredible. Near waterfront restaurants. And there is a wonderful included breakfast every morning. There was always a staff person on duty to help us with information. Considering the age of this historical pensione, it was well cared for and the elevator to the 4th floor was so appreciated. Great value! Can’t think of anything.

Staff were brilliant, room was fantastic with a great view, breakfast was lovely. Nothing.

We were very pleased with our stay here. Very short walk from Zatterre ferry station. Super nice staff at check-in and during our stay. We had a room that opened onto a side canal and had a view to the southern main canal that was very nice. Hotel had an old world feel, but with plenty of modern day comforts. Dorsoduro district was a good calm area and away from the higher traffic tourist areas, but still within walking distance to everything.

It is worth the value; all accepts met my expectations

A classic Venetian style feel in this hotel. It is not modern, and you feel like you’re taking a trip back in history. Very quaint, staff was warm and accommodating, and very helpful navigating the water taxis The mattress could use an upgrade :/

Free breakfast, exceptionally friendly staff, firm beds, modern bathroom appliances, great water pressure in shower, my room had a lovely waterside view, housekeeping was efficient, great location by Zattere stop and Ponte Accademia, elevator Mosquitos, thin walls with outside/hallway noise, peeling walls/paneling in room, only one electrical socket

The location was decent -- it was close to the water bus lines. The man who checked us in to our hotel room very transparently attempted to rip us off for 6 euros when we paid the hotel tax in cash. His response when we double-checked the change was that of someone who knew they had just been busted trying to rip someone off. We are both people who would always give someone the benefit of the doubt but this was just too obvious. Unfortunately this set the tone for the rest of our stay. He had requested that we leave the keys to our hotel room on a board at the entrance of the hotel every time we left -- there was no way we were going to do that after he attempted to steal from us. Luckily no one put up any resistance when we took our keys with us whenever we left. Our bedroom was nothing like the ones that were pictured in the booking for the same room type we had chosen. The room was small, dim and the bed was uncomfortable. The cleaning products they used had a really harsh odor and were the only thing on our entire vacation to trigger both of our allergies. The worst part of our stay was that it was completely infested with bed bugs. Both of us were bit and we are having to disinfect everything now that we are home. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS. $236 for a bedbug infested hotel where they may attempt to steal from you is NOT WORTH IT. This is also not a good hotel for anyone with food allergies even if you notify them in advance.

Great location and room comfort. All staff were great, with exception of one person in the reception (young Italian man), who was terribly rude and shouted at me simply because I wanted to cancel a taxi reservation. Not acceptible!
