B&B Experience

A pleasant greeting from the staff with fruits and snacks, as well as drinking water. Overall, a very well equipped and comfortable apartment with a private terrace overlooking the courtyard, a truly quiet and lovely place for a romantic holiday The front door was difficult to close without making noise, but that's to be expected in a historic house. It wasn't easy to find the entrance from the street the first time because there are no clear signs on the gate leading to the front yard.

The bathroom was not next to the room.

Lovely aesthetic, cool vibe, nice little balcony, very cool with working AC. Exposed rusty nail in the door, front door to the building wouldn’t stay shut, fridge was left off, they forgot the crib.

This property is perfectly located, comfortable and clean.

There is no mosquito nets or mosquito repellants unless you asked for it. We were not prepared and the first two nights were challenging. It would be great is mosquito repellents are the default.

Great location, clean and well equipped (we stayed in the studio). Nice daylight and cute balcony. Communication was great. Would stay here again in warmer weather. Stayed in February and it was uncomfortably cold - wore hats and socks to bed, stayed under the covers whenever we were in the unit. No way to control the temperature in the unit and there was no radiator in the room (a heated towel rack in the bedroom and a radiator in the vestibule behind the closet) so we never felt warm enough.

The apartment/room was big, bright and very clean. Very good location. Helpful and nice staff. There was no shampoo and body wash

Great location, nice canal view from our room. Neat and tidy, good amenity. A true Venetian experience.

Stayed here 2 nights. Location was good and liked the neighborhood. Close to good restaurants, grocery store, gelato, and bars. Bathroom was great and large. It is yours only, and is cleaned each day. Small fridge, bottled water, and tea in your room when you check in. Common area was cozy with books and seating. Felt safe in the neighborhood at night and this place is right off a little piazza. Finding the secondary door to the B&B was confusing as the doors in the stairwell weren't marked and the stairwell light is on a timer (lights kept going out as we were trying to figure out where to go...after having travelled for so long it just was not a great start, but part of sorting a B&B style place). The host, however, was very responsive to get us to where we needed to be. The bathroom being disconnected from your room is difficult, particularly if you get sick. One day our bathroom had not been locked after it was cleaned, so don't leave anything of value in there. The smell from the toilet water/pipes was pretty bad, but I chalked that up to canals maybe being dredged recently? You end up with 5 keys: 1 to get into the building, 1 for stairwell door, 1 to open the door to the door to your room (in the US- think storm door, front door, but both are solid), 1 to enter your room, and 1 for the bathroom. This is a B&B and not a hotel, which I tried not to book (Air) B&B style places to be sensitive to the local housing crisis. But that is a problem for booking.com filters and misleading classifications.

Good location! You can also tell the staff really cares about your experience. Piazza weren’t situated at was great and the Florentine sandwich just across the bridge was awesome. It felt more like a hostel than a hotel or Airbnb. The separate bathroom with individual key was semi inconvenient. Somehow missed this in the fine print. I think we were unlucky because walls were super thin, and we were next to a very opinionated toddler.

Good communication on directions for entry including pictures which were very helpful for location. Also, location was good for proximity to public transportation. Private bath was farther from the room than expected although very nice and very clean, which was much appreciated.

We have come here for the 3rd year, beautiful house with large rooms and nice bathroom, close to centre and vaporeto (stops of water transport). In the hearth of Santa Margarita square where there supermarket, pizza cafes and ice cream bars. There is a very big terrace in house for coffee drink in the morning. Very clean and comfortable beds, coffee machine and belongings for lunch. There is no negative remarks.

You have a welcome snacks. Bathroom with personal care stuff. Andrea the keys coordination is super nice. TOTALLY RECOMMENDED

The bathroom is private but outside of the room.
