THE HOTEL LOCATION WAS CLOSE TO THE SQUARE BUT FAR ENOUGH TO NOT BE TOO NEAR THE CROWD NOISE..OUR ROOM WAS LOCATED ON THE SEOCIND FLOOR . THOUGH THERE WAS NO VIEW OF THE CANAL IT WAS NOT NEEDED. IT WAS SPACIOUS ENOUGH FOR TWO PEOPLE AND WELL ATTENDED BY THE STAFF EACH DAY. THE BATHROOM FACILITY WAS EXCELLENT AS WELL. BREAKFAST WAS FINE THERE WAS NOT MUCH TO DISLIKE.

The location was superb and the hotel itself was nice. Quiet yet located in a prime spot near St. Marks but not in the middle of the chaos. Wifi was bad and constantly disconnected. Room felt like a dungeon with very little light. Furnishings were generally nice. We had a suite but no real view. Some natural light and wifi needs improvement. For the price, these type of amenities are important. That's our only complaint.

Location location location !!! Breakfast crew are lovely The smell when you enter is off putting . Sewage smell . I understand it’s vintage however the hotel was too expensive in my opinion and has good history however doesn’t match up to cost

The hotel is very clean and located right in the city center. The staff are always available and ready to answer any questions, which made the stay very comfortable. Perfect place to stay — highly recommended!

Excellent location during the off season. I believe it could be difficult to navigate the immediate streets during high season but if you’re an early bird you would be set! Lovely spacious room and good breakfast.

Cleanliness, friendliness, location, the room had two beautiful windows, the bathroom with heated floors also had a beautiful huge window. Everything was dreamy. Will definitely come back to this hotel in Venice
