Rooms were clean and nicely decorated and convent to water taxi dock. The staff were kind and helpful. Nothing everything was as expected!
-
Good location walking distance to main attractions and transportation Restroom was very unfomfortable, and no coffee
-
Close to water taxi and central to shopping and attractions

We were not told at the time of booking that it would be 3rd floor room in a building with no elevator.
-
The room is clean and well located were there is not to much noise of people The building has no elevator, the stairs are steep and narrow, it is really difficult and tired to carry up or down the luggage, this is a mayor set down

Hotel staff were wonderful. The included breakfast at the Hotel Santa Marina was delicious and exceptional. Location for us was superb. We would have liked to have an elevator in the building, as we were on the 3rd floor. However, a porter did help us with our luggage, so it worked out ok for us.

Fantastic location for exploring Venice, friendly staff. Bed was comfy. The room was clean and large and had everything we needed. It was located on the bottom floor of the building next to a quiet canal. It wasn't clear when we booked that we weren't in the main hotel but in their second property around the corner, which is more basic and not as traditional. This should be clarified when booking - the main hotel is 'Hotel Santa Marina'. The second property is called Ca'Marinella. The photos on booking.com were of Hotel Santa Marina

Amazing property with a unique design and set up. Everything was clean and comfortable and staff were really helpful and accommodating! Location is perfect, would highly recommend ! Our room was up on the 6th floor which made carrying our large suitcase down a bit difficult! However the concierge helped us on the way up

- very friendly staff. We arrived late and the receptionist (the middle aged black man) took our bags up and was very helpful with recommendations for things to do in the city and he gave us a map. - room was clean - the design of the place is interesting - nothing comes to mind

Two ladies at reception and lovely lady serving breakfast. Rooms were hot
-
Nothing. One of the lady serving during breakfast was very rude. Staff needs to learn about the cultural differences. The room was very warm. No arrangements were done for the air conditioner. The location of the hotel was almost 50 meters away from Santa Marina . No elevator. Our room was on the 3rd floor and stairs are very cramped. Pic of the exterior was not available and they were showing the image of Santa Marina.

Perfect unit! Super clean, beautiful view overlooking the canals. Breakfast was fantastic great selection and the complimentary mimosas were an added bonus. Super central but tucked around a corner away from the noise and hustle. Would recommend! Nothing

Only breakfast. Everything except breakfast. We were given rooms not in the main hotel premises but in another building some 50 meters away from the main hotel building. The other building is somewhat like an apartment building. We are a couple with 2 children (1 ten year old son & a 1.5 year old daughter). Firstly, we observed many mosquitoes in the room for which a mosquito repellent was given to us. But most annoying was when we found 2 big spiders in the room close to our beds (pictures are attached). Upon discussing this with the staff at the reception, they just said it is normal in venice and can happen anywhere. Our point was, first of all, this is not something that we have experienced in any other hotel around the world with our 20+ experience in tourism and secondly with small children this is not at all acceptable. Also, on the day of checkout, the exit from our room till the main entrance of the other building was blocked with big sacks of garbage or cleaning team stuff, which we had to push ourselves in order to create enough space for us to bring our luggage and baby pram out of that building. We won't recommend this hotel to any family traveling with small children

Excellent location and breakfast with lots of choice from buffet. Kept our cases after checkout due to late flight. Nothing.

Lovely little hotel right in the centre of Venice. Great facilities and very clean. The decor is nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location for St Mark’s Square and the breakfast was amazing!! We would 100% stay here again.

Breakfast was good, excellent choice. Checkin and our staff was surly, abrupt and dismissive. Receptionist. Surly, dismissive and unfriendly. Air conditioning was not on. Opened windows and was bitten by hoards of mosquitos.

Hotel was located in a very convenient location. The breakfast included was delicious and they had a wide variety of options. Other things to note: 1. Ca’ Marinella’s rooms are located in a different building. You’ll still need to check in and check out at the desk of Santa Marina Hotel (which is close-by). This was quite confusing at the start. 2. If you have issues climbing narrow stairs, it’ll be best to request for a hotel room on the ground/lower floors. The building’s stairs were quite steep and you’ll have to bring your luggages up/down. 3. We also noticed the building’s corridor and our hotel room were always set on a very warm temperature, which we could not adjust in our rooms. The AC wasn’t working too so we would have to have our bedroom windows slightly opened when sleeping (and you can hear the foot traffic below).
