No elevator, but piccolo got the bags Hotel tried to charge more city tax that booking.com had informed, hotel also tried to charge minibar which we did not use. Hotel is obviously suggesting restaurants they own or have some kind of deals, be free to use the ones in fromt of them, they were very good instead of what hotel said…

The views are great. The queen bed was just 2 bed stuck together. Reactivating my back issues. Very uncomfortable sleeping in the middle. Plus very thin walls.

Very nice setting of room in a great location. After the first day Room Cleaning - there was a very bad smell in the room… strange as everything (bed sheets / towels, etc) where all good. Could it be the filter of the vacuum cleaner?

The hotel is perfectly located, easily accessible, very quiet, great breakfast and very friendly staff, great air-condition (very important when outside temperature are reaching 40...). A bit expensive, but this is Venice city center...

Eclectic room decor No handrails on stairs

Right in the middle of the canals, a gondola stop right out front. The staff were amazing! Don’t forget to get Euro’s before coming into the city. The ATM’s and Western Union charge 20 to 30 cents on the dollar and no one will allow you to tip with a credit card. Awesome restaurant right across the way. Food was amazing! The stairs are a little steep, but it’s beautiful and worth holding onto the handrails to get up the stairs!

Thanks for everything

This hotel was excellent! We had the double with canal view. the room was spacious and very clean. It was also very quiet, which was not the case at our other hotels in Italy. The front desk was very helpful. They were there 24 hours, planned a boat for us to Murano Island with a tour of the glass factory, and helped us plan a last minute private water taxi to the airport at 3 in the morning! The hotel has two restaurants. We went to Luna which had out door seating with canal views and was lovely. We absolutely loved this section of Venice and would recommend this hotel to anyone. The only think we noticed that someone may not like is there was no lift- we were fine but it may be an inconvenience to some.

Perfect location. Wonderful view ?

We booked a family room and it was amazing! They even set out a little dog bed and dishes for our dog. The AC was ice cold which is a rarity in Europe. We loved this hotel. Everything was great!
-
We couldn’t turn the AC because it wasn’t the pre established date by the property.

The location was perfect. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. Air conditioning was not working. The room was unbearably hot and stuffy, despite the staff bringing us a fan. We didn’t sleep well and even getting ready in the room was uncomfortable. Opening the windows have a bit of a breeze but bought many mosquitoes and my partner was bitten all over.

Great view from the room and the balcony, a hidden venice experience i arrived late but checkin still worked out, was confused on where to enter but all good

Old world charm. Excellent breakfast and staff. Access information to hotel from train station would have been helpful. Please provide detailed instructions via communications channels: e.g. which vaparetto number to take on which line number and the station name to disembark. How long the walk from nearest Zaccaria station to hotel, for example.

The location is perfect

We liked the location and breakfast. It seemed only one building had an elevator and my 82-year old mother was with us. It was a bit of a hassle going up and down to our rooms.

The location and charm Too many different entrances.
