The quietness and calmness. The garden was so cute. Loved how each room was different There’s nothing I ldidnt like. But if I had to say anything it was a little further out from main areas more than I’d like. But the walks were refreshing so I enjoyed it

I love the fact that was off the beaten path with the locals. It was also close enough that you can get to all the attractions quite easily and get away from the noise when necessary.

wonderful location. outside of the more touristy area; needed a bit more walking, but that was fine to experience to vibe of Venice. the Hotel staff was amazing- friendly, knowledgeable, courteous and extremely helpful. greeted us upon arrival of the Water taxi and patiently learned to mix a new drink with my wife's suggestions. Beautiful garden- a rarity in Venice. Lovely room. Just had to learn to work with the shower facets to get the hot water. need a bit of written instructions to get the hot water from the shower.

Everything was perfect! The staff went above and beyond from the manager to the kitchen and bar staff. Beautiful setting and perfect location: quiet but close to the action, just a short walk to bars, shopping and restaurants. But once back at the hotel, we found sanctuary in the garden. The breakfast was whenever you woke up and the assortment was just lovely!

The Heureka Hotel offers guests an exceptional experience. From the moment you arrive, you are made to feel special. It is a boutique hotel but has all the amenities of a five star. The concierge is happy to spend time with you, guiding you to nearby sites and restaurants. The bar tender (there is a small bar in the entrance hallway) is friendly and attentive as are those who care for you at breakfast. The hotel is in the Cannaregio section of Venice. It’s easiest to use a private water taxi to get there. It a relatively quiet section but there are an ample number of restaurants within a short walk. It is a longer but manageable walk to San Marco Square and central Venice. We stayed in a room at the rear overlooking the lovely garden. Only downside is that cell service seems weak in these rooms. Rooms at the front overlook a canal and cell service is much better. Don’t miss the nearby church with paintings by Tintoretto (he’s buried there as well). It’s easily overlooked but spectacular. Highly recommend this hotel.

One of the nicest places we have stayed in decades of travel. Place is physically beautiful--great combo of beautiful preservation with some modern Italian art and design. Fantastic location away from the crowds. Very good local restaurants close by, as well as water bus stops. Great staff--Franco and team. 10 on a scale of 10...and we are persnickety!
