Location, professional staff, included breakfast, funky decor The shower was very small, and one bottle of “body and hair wash” was provided that didn’t do much for hair.

The location of the hotel is excellent - right next to the Rialto bridge, which has its pluses and minuses, but is great as a base for exploration of Venice on foot. The room was decently clean. The hotel has a lovely terrace with a view of the Grand Canal and the Rialto bridge; well, if you can find it. This hotel feels like an old palazzo that has been subdivided into an absolute rabbit's warren of hallways that go round and round, and every time we ventured out, we got lost in the hallways. Also, the room was really, _really_ tiny even by European standards, and windowless, but since we only used it for sleeping, that was OK (though not maybe so OK at the price).

the room is very noisy (Fan?). There is no coffee , and free water in the room/hotel . Breakfast is okay, but poor comparing others in Rome and Florence. It is expensive

Location is very good. There was no hot water in the bathroom. A/C was pretty good. The hotel description said nice outdoors restaurant w Grand Canal view, but it was closed. Front desk staff were pretty nice. Hot water in shower and sink.

Location I can’t believe this hotel had 4 stars. I would give it 2 at a push. We were out at the very top floor with no lift. In a room that was like my attic. Air conditioning was poor, phone did not work, all the furniture was chipped, carpets worn. I’m still so disappointed in this hotel. I talked to the manager who was so rude and did not care. They’re were another 2 men at reception who listened and were apologetic, but the manager was so rude. I can only think that the hotel belonged to his family and that is why her got the job as manager, cause no one else would have gave him that title with that attitude. He was a on the larger size and bald with glasses, if you ever see him you’ll know who I’m talking about. When I asked for his name he ignored me, that is why I’m describing how he looked!!

I went here for the location which I loved. Several big sight seeing locations are all walkable from the hotel. It was a old hotel, but the downstairs lobby was modern and they do have an elevator. The restaurant was in the hotel and the food was good. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. The rooms were clean, but older. The style was to resemble older European style with antique furniture. Very small rooms, which I was ok with because I had a canal view. The electrical outlets in the rooms were very sparse and hard to access. Bathrooms are small but kept very clean.

No in house restaurant or bad. Rooms looked like my great grandmother decorated them

the location is wonderful. situated right next to the Rialto bridge. the window view was amazing. Breakfast was also good. the room was nice. I didn't like the size of the bathroom. for some reason it seems that most places in throughout Europe have very small showers and uncomfortable tubs.
