Hotel Santa Lucia

The room was comfortable and nice, and I was able to rest well after a long week walking around Venice. The location is very convenient, close to the train station and Piazzale Roma, which made getting around easy. The breakfast was varied and complete, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Even though the bathroom is shared, the room has a sink inside, which made it perfectly manageable. Everything was clean and well maintained, and overall my stay was pleasant. I would recommend this hotel to travelers looking for a good balance of comfort, location, and service.

Rooms had AC but they did not work as well in super high heat, so sleeping etc. was a bit uncomfortable.

The only issue, the bathroom had a bad smell from the pipes. With the door closed it was easy to ignore, but it was something worth mentioning.

Lydia the front reception desk staff member was knowledgeable and helped make my stay a wonderful experience. Loved the charm of the hotel and when coming back to visit would definitely stay there again. Everything was perfect.

The room was spacious and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The cleanliness was excellent, and there were no mosquitoes, which made the stay comfortable. Behind the hotel there is a small garden with a partial view of the canal and a refreshing breeze. Near the hotel there is also a small local bar where you can enjoy Italian snacks and good wine. The strongest points of this hotel are the warm staff, excellent cleanliness, convenient location. I would gladly stay here again when visiting Venice.

- Great value for the price. Spacious, clean rooms with a lot of little extras to make life easier (sink in the room, kettle, safe, hair dryer). I also stayed at pricer hotels closer to the tourist attractions, and it felt like a downgrade. - Friendly and helpful staff who recommended a good place to eat. - Close to the train station. The walls were a bit thin, so I could hear noisy guests in adjacent rooms early in the morning.

Andrea was lovely, as was Lydia. The room was great. Very clean, had all we needed. We loved hearing the birds in the morning, the windows open with the fresh breeze and a super friendly cleaning staff. Great three night stay! Léo the cat would have let us pet him! That’s it!

The hotel has very good facilities and it is close to the Santa Lucia train station. In our case, we paid 8 euros each for a very good and abundant breakfast, as shown in the picture. The staff is very friendly and made us feel at home. Washrooms are very clean and has good water flow. The room was big and has closets to hang clothes. Cleaning was made on each day of out stay. Although we had a shared washroom, we had a sink in our room, which is very convenient. Overall, this was the best hotel at which we stayed during our trip to Italy. There were a few mosquitoes in our room, but this is something to expect in Venice.

Lovely staff. So close to train station upon arrival but still quiet at night for sleeping. Open 24 hour reception. I did use a shared bathroom as well as a shared bathroom and shower and there were no issues.

The location was perfect. Right next no bus and train stations. Affordable price for that location. Secure place 24 hour people in the hotel desk. Clean rooms. small room, small bathroom, no conforter just blanket.

Great location next to the train station, delicious breakfast and excellent staff. Everything was perfect!

Cleanings, friendly and trustful

This is not a 1 star hotel!! Great location, close to railway station, main walking street, everything you need. Good enough not to be disturbed by street noise. Perfect! Better rated hotels must learn from you!

Hot in the room (in November!), something that didn't seem to be able to be fixed, even though the heating element had been turned off.

when you are getting off the third train of the day this hotel was fantastic out the front of the train station take a left 60 meters later take another left 40 meters and on your your right side was the hotel. Quick clean efficient check in directions where to go eat and back at hotel by 9 pm.
