Ruzzini Palace Hotel

Absolutely loved the staff, the location is so perfect, close to everything but tucked away from the summer crowds. The Palazzo sits on a beautiful square, with a canal right out back. Arrange water taxis with the staff for the ultimate convenience and amazing Venice vibe. The large square is gorgeous but quiet enough for kids to be kicking the soccer ball and locals to be walking their dogs. Staff is so helpful with recommendations and so accommodating, I was traveling with children so I really appreciated all of their expertise in Venice, take a tour through the hotel in a luxury teak water taxi, and check out the biennial, amazing art exhibits. Nothing to dislike..

Charming well appointed hotel conveniently located in the heart of Venice. Staff was great as well. I will definitely stay there again.

Historic large suite perfect for a large family. Lovely piazza where kids can run around and play or have aperitivo. Everything was great

Loved the location and the beautiful “campo” the hotel is within. Our junior suite was super spacious with views across the campo. Bathroom was older as to be expected with this type of a property. The towel warmer did not work, but not that big of a deal.

customer service, location and cleaniliness

The location is perfect: a quiet part yet at the center with easy walking access to many museums and the Biennale sites. Not much. I think the breakfast could be diversified: everyday was the same .

Beautiful building, and the location was close to Rialto and San Marco. It was also relatively close to other neighborhoods we wanted to explore. The room itself was small but cozy and perfect for our uses. We were able to get a water taxi from the hotel directly to the train station when we left, which was very helpful. Felt safe and would absolutely stay here again. The room we had (one of the attic room), had a window that wasn’t very easy to look out as it was too high up. Not a huge problem as we could stand on a chair and look out, but something for others to keep in mind when booking an attic room.

Clean. Close to everything. Pretty sights. Not much to dislike….

Good central location. Liked the hotel, especially the private seating area over the canal to have a drink. Staff was polite and helpful. Bartender, Rino, was awesome! Junior suite was spacious but also dangerous with some steps that create a tripping hazard, especially at night.

The building was historic and lovely. The location on a quiet piazza was nice. Staff was helpful, but not welcoming.
