Proximity to the Arena, it’s a 2 min walk away. Perfect for a short stay. I would have loved Nespresso Machine in the room. I like to have coffee in my room and don’t love powdered coffee.
-
Great location! Walking distance to Arena which is very close. We were upgraded at check in to a suite with a fabulous view. Staff incredible.

Hotel Bologna is very centrally located, and easy to get to by train. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic. N/A everything met our expectations.

Very close to the Verona Arena and all areas of the old town were in walking distance

Positives: - Location - you really can't get any more central to the old city square. - One of the front desk staff in particular was very helpful when we faced a luggage issue (we think she was English because of her perfect English and English accent, but perhaps we shouldn't assume), the others were cordial and efficient but not super friendly. The staff in the breakfast dining area were very nice and attentive. - The bathroom was small, but clean and well-decorated with all the amenities we needed. - On our last day, we needed to leave our suitcases with the hotel after we moved out of our room and that process was smooth and secure. We were also waiting for a lost suitcase to be delivered and when it did, they texted us to let us know it had arrived. They also helped us delay the rental car pick up. We really appreciated their help with all of that. - The breakfast dining room was nothing special and the food offerings were okay but not great. Our coffee the first morning tasted a bit "burned" but it was better on the second day. - The bedroom was small, though perhaps a reasonable size considering the location and the price, but it was not well-organized for luggage with almost no available floor space and not enough suitcase stands. The pillows were thin and hard - the worst combination because you can't even fold them. The mattress was average. - Our room was on the corner of the hotel which gave us a view of the square but because of that, we got a lot of street noise until late despite the good quality windows. We were also unlucky in that there was a concert being held in the old arena on our first night and it was really loud. I wonder whether they could have put us in a different room if they knew about the impending concert.

Amazing location. Breakfast was just OK. Didn’t like separate building

Professional and courteous service by front desk and all staff.

This hotel is a gem! Excellent location in the historic area. The breakfast was phenomenal- excellent choices, delicious quality food and the morning music in the breakfast area was pleasant. The staff at the reception, housekeeping and breakfast staff were genuinely friendly. We loved our stay! Everything was wonderful.

Great location, close fto everything, easy walk. Hotel is also beautiful, breakfast was ok! They don't turn on the ar conditioner before May. It was 25 degrees in the bedroom and they stil wouldn't turn on the air conditioner. "Just open the window". and the bedrooms were on top of a bar/restaurant. People talking, screaming, trash trucks. It was a very uncomfortable, sleepless night for me and my family. Unfortunately, it's a hotel that doesn't value the comfort.

We enjoyed our stay at Bologna Hotel, the location was perfect. The breakfast was amazing, typical italian breakfast with salumeria and different types of cheese, enjoyed very much the pastries, especially la Torta della nonna.

All was good.

The central location 100 metres from the Arena was absolutely ideal for exploring the city. Navigating Verona's complex streets by car to find the hotel was initially a challenge but the staff was incredibly helpful and responsive. This high level of hospitality continued throughout the stay. More non-bread (wheat) breakfast choices would have been appreciated.

Great location! Very nice and helpful staff, clean and great breakfast with gluten free/ dairy free options. That we couldn’t stay longer!

excellent breakfast, tasty and very well presented.

We had an overall nice stay at Hotel Bologna. The room was comfortable and clean, and the facilities were spotless. We appreciated having a kettle with tea and coffee in the room. Location is 10 out of 10. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They also kindly stored our luggage after check-out free of charge, which we really appreciated. In the evenings and in the mornings, there was sometimes an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, likely related to the plumbing.

Very nice room in a great location
-
The property is exceptional. Perfectly located to traverse Verona taking in all the major sites. The parking is located nearly and we were able to park first and unload our luggage. Access for the street is enabled by the hotel. There is literally nothing to dislike. You will not be disappointed. It will be a memorable experience.
