Nothing was bad

Wirklich perfekter Aufenthalt! Nichts

The hotel was located in a great location. It was clean and the rooms were comfortable. I would stay here again with no issues.

They gave us an upgraded room that was very nice. Wife enjoyed the big stand alone tub. Shower was not great. Flimsy shower head. This property is converting to a Marriott in 27 and needs some upgrades to get to Marriott standards. Great location. 2 min walk to subway. Next to large park and gardens. Number of good restaurants with in a 3 min walk. Spar grocery 5 min walk. Shower head is pitiful. Carpet throughout hotel needs refreshed to give it a better look. French guy at the front desk NOT friendly. Rest of customer service was fantastic

Beautiful hotel, very nice deco details around, very nice staff who helped us through the stay. Nice room, comfortable beds, good air conditioning, AMAZING breakfast - large variety of options, very nice staff there as well and beautiful garden tables if you want to take the food outside. Very good restaurant inside the hotel as well, we went there twice during our short stay because it had good food and looked very nice. Location is good if you aim to visit Schonbrunn and the Zoo, which is right across the street. The fact that the only option to park in the neighborhood of the hotel is a garage taxing no less than 45 euros per day, which is a fee you need to add to the room and the breakfast fee to have a pragmatic view over the real cost of staying there. Otherwise, if you do not travel by car, it is a very good option and probably even good value for money for the conditions they offer.

The location was great, the rooms was tidy and the overall look of the building made our stay so much more enjoyable! The AC was somewhat confusing and not as readable.

In our room, we quickly ran out of one-time paper towels and were not provided with the usual towels at first, so we had to request them separately after check-in, but everything was resolved quickly.

It's such a lovely hotel with so much history. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were amazing! It's not a con per se, but this hotel is actually like 20 mins walk away from the Orangery (if you're attending the concert), and from the main entrance from Schönbrunn Palace. This might be something you'd like to think over if you're considering this hotel because of its location.

Refreshing to have the air conditioning during the heat wave. Very beautiful quiet and classy. Excellent customer service. The work with booking.com can be confusing. Good that they will change a room date but bad in that the money seems not to be refunded.

The staff were great at the front desk. There are many wings and floors. Some rooms are better than others. While very clean our beds were a little smaller than expected.

Beautiful hotel very close to Schonbrun palace and opposite the Zoo entrance and the beautiful gardens. A piece of history! reflected in the facade of the hotel, the common areas, corridors etc. and the rooms in the old section. The superior rooms have beautiful chandeliers above the bed. We received an upgrade for one of the rooms so our family stayed on the same floor, in rooms that were next to each other. This was truly nice and I am really grateful for this gesture, which made our stay even more special. Our rooms had a beautiful view and balconies overlooking the gardens of the Zoo. We had a nice experience with the reception staff: Marika (night shift) was very friendly and provided great information, MarieTheresa answered all our questions during check-in, and Chris was very helpful with booking the airport taxi. The hotel has an amazing Ballroom. We had a tasty dinner at the Schosscafe. The U4 metro line is just around the corner. There are a few supermarkets and restaurants around the hotel. We had an overall nice stay during a busy time for the hotel. Just one suggestion... .Maybe the hotel needs to have more cleaning staff to support daily housekeeping during longer stays. We stayed for 6 nights and we noticed that the rooms needed better cleaning after the second day. Also the card keys for our rooms had to be re-programmed a few times during our stay.
