The location is ideal for those liking the busy inner-city vibe. The hotel itself exudes a very authentic charm, as if you’re staying in a little palace yourself and I found the staff very helpful, thoughtful and caring. Since the facilities are somewhat out-dated there was no AC in my room, so it would get so hot that even the ventilator didn’t help. Fortunately I was able to change rooms and the staff touched base after to see if all was fine.

Breakfast was very satisfying. Location was terrific, easy to walk to most attractions and to public transport for others. Staff was extremely helpful. Don't accept room on the 2d floor next to storage. I asked for another room and they quickly accomodated my request.

Staff is very friendly and genuine. I enjoyed everyone's energy. The location was primo for getting to St. Stephen's as well as the Opera Ring area. It'd be great to have gluten-free bread options for breakfast.

Excellent location in the heart of Vienna, 4 min walking distance from StefanPlatz. Nice hotel that kept its old charm, nice decoration of the room. Very clean. Staff is present all day and reactive to requests (eg, printing boarding pass). No AC only a fan in the room, 35 degrees is unusual so I can understand AC is not so common in Austria... may be a portable AC would have been good in these extreme conditions.

The location of this hotel is amazing. We mainly booked it for its central location. The staff at the front desk, housekeeping and also at breakfast were all exceptional too. The traditional design of the rooms was elegant, albeit a tad outdated. We arrived after the heatwave, so weren’t too concerned about not having aircon, but regardless of the moderately cooler temp outside, the room simply never cooled down. We opened windows, but there was not airflow, we had 2 fans going, but it felt more like a fan-forced oven! It was a difficult two nights staying here, simply due to the uncomfortable temperature in the rooms.

The management has to install an air-conditioned. We were there on 104 degree weather and it was way too hot even with the fans.
