Staff were very accommodating allowing us to check in early, which is so helpful with kids. Great value for money and good breakfast included. Will stay here again. There were small maintenance issues, like the bathroom door not closing properly.

It was clean, the staff was quite friendly. The breakfast was nice, there were enough options. Nice location near the Prater and a metro station. The bus to the airport is about a 15 minutes walk away. If you’re with kids there’s a very nice playground nearby as well. The handheld shower head didn’t work properly (very little water was flowing) and unfortunately it was fixed on our last day there. We did have a head shower as well so it was possible to take a shower although quite inconvenient if you don’t want to wash your hair. If your room is looking at the Prater you will need to keep your windows shut as the noise from the attractions is loud but when the window is closed, it’s fine.

The room was comfortable and had everything we needed, and the breakfast was very good with plenty of choices. The hotel gym was also well equipped for a hotel gym, which was a nice bonus. The location was very convenient, with the U2 metro line about a 5-minute walk away and the U1 around 15 minutes away, making it easy to get around Vienna. The only minor downside was the lack of a mini fridge in the room, which would have been a useful addition.

The Hampton Inn Vienna Messe is a nice, modern hotel with comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. Our bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. The front desk staff were top-notch--always available to answer questions and give assistance. The view from our room was very nice. While our room was comfortable and clean, the wifi did not work well at all. It constantly went in and out and made it difficult to check emails or to stream something to watch in the evenings. The pillows were not very comfortable, but that is just a matter of preference.
