Extremely accommodating and customer focused with the traditional Austrian hospitality of the region which is exactly why I keep returning to the area. Exceptionally polite and customer-orientated service throughout and not a minute went by where I felt undervalued or unwanted during the stay: as a solo traveller I very much appreciated the friendly service and homely atmosphere which helped me to relax and feel in good hands. This property is ideal for families but also couples and solo travellers in need of some food for the soul. The breakfast is a real highlight- the choice is extensive and even as the only guest the entire choice was made available which included local products and high quality ingredients. I also really like the measures put in place to ensure a high sustainability standard for example by reducing packaging. I must also point out that during the entire stay my needs were seen to on a regular basis and the service was really exceptional. My room was perfectly acceptable for the price and even came with a balcony, mini fridge and comfortable mattress. The entire place was spotless (as always in Austria) and it is clear that the owners take immense pride in ensuring that the property is in excellent order for the guests. The location is also nice since it is away from the noisy areas and easily Snow Space bus or walking. I will definitely stay here again if in Wagrain. Perhaps the breakfast offering could be publicised more at the booking stage as I felt that it is a real highlight and selling point for this property.

It is a family enterprise so every hosts were really kind there. The main entrepreneur is a young man who really take care of everything. I really liked, how he treaded the guests. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was various and much. There are some board games as well, which can be used by the guests, besides you can drink some beers or snaps while you are playing. Walls are thin so you can hear some noise from your neighbours. Ski lifts are not so close, if you want to walk to the closest ski lift in your ski boots, it takes at least 10 minutes, although you can choose ski bus instead.

We have warm welcome from the host. He is a friendly gentleman, explaining all the facilities provided in the hotel. The oriental breakfast served from 0745-0945 hrs. They are very tasty! The hotel is very tidy and clean. We have free access to a local swimming pool, however, we didn’t bring along our swimming suits. I will definitely will come back when I visit Wagrain again in the future. Thank you for hosting us! If the TV is smart TV will be nice, but not essential!

Excellent Breakfast with many varieties of food. Florian (the owner) was very attentive to our needs (vegetarian although i eat fish) . The quality of the food was very good together with the very interesting breakfast room adorned with trophies from the families walking and climbing on the surrounding mountains . Florian was on hand to attend to our every need at breakfast and spoke with all the guests which added to the welcoming feeling of this small hotel. i could not find anything to dislike.

We had a fantastic weekend at Florian's accommodation. Florian, the owner, was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The place is perfect for both summer and winter getaways. It was spotlessly clean, and the highlight was the spacious garden with a trampoline and swings, perfect for outdoor fun. Inside, there's a game room with table soccer and darts, providing entertainment for all ages. Brealfasts were fantastic. I highly recommend this place for a memorable stay.

Every thing is clean. Very very clean. Breakfast was good. Everything was good.

This family run bed and breakfast was a delight to stay in. We had a triple room with plenty of space, with en-suite, and balcony with views to the mountains. WiFi was great and breakfast was ample and varied with all the coffee or tea you need. We used the free parking provided. It was an easy short walk to the cable car, but a harder walk down to and back up from the main town area (so we drove). There were extras available that we didn’t have time for. But we all wished we could have stayed longer.

The location is good. The room is well arranged and contains everything needed. The bathroom is large, beautiful and innovative. The breakfast was very good. There were lots of facilities and games in the yard and the most important thing is that there is a family atmosphere and the owner Florian really takes care of everything needed, very friendly and gives a homely and pleasant feeling. We will be very happy to return to this place. The room is not big and there are no stairs, but despite that we would be very happy to return to this place.

Florian is a fantastic host, we were greeted by a tour around the small family house, we will definitely come back when we go to Wagrain again :-) Nothing to complain about.

Penzion Oberauer was absolutely nice, clean and perfect. Breakfast included all food what you want. The owner is able to satisfy all our wishes. Perfect holiday, perfect place for relax, we plan to go back next season. There are lot of places to discover….
